CONDITION REPORT The alabaster vase has some lacquer which is peeling of, the top section is separate, comes apart at the neck, there are some chips to the base and grazes, the resin model has chips and scratches commensurate with age
A Royal Worcester blush ware dish of scalloped form painted with thistles, puce mark and dated 1897, shape no.1413, diameter 11.5cm (af), and a Worcester Hadley ware vase of squat form painted in the Islamic style with blush painted panels of birds and flowers within blue borders, height 8.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT Scalloped dish has chips to rim , scratches, Hadley vase has minor scratches, some wear to the gilt
A group of Wedgwood blue jasperware include a pair of baluster vases with covers in the Classical style with raised Greek figures, some on horseback, female head decoration to either side, both on wooden plinths, height of each 22.5cm, a limited edition female figure commissioned by Spink, 'The Imperial Banquet 1855', no.2391/10000, with certificate, 'The Josiah Wedgwood Bicentenary Clock', an original jasper clock created by Wedgwood to mark the bicentenary of Josiah Wedgwood's death, limited edition no.2411, with certificate, and other Wedgwood blue jasperware to include pin dishes, one with armorial centre, clover-shaped pin dishes, various trinket pots with raised grape and vine decoration, oval trinket pots with putti decoration, etc, a decorative Fabergé-style egg (af), a Wedgwood 'Clementine' baluster vase and egg-shaped 'Clementine' trinket pot. CONDITION REPORT One of the vases is af, with both of the female heads to either side having various cracks to them.
A rare Watcombe Torquay 'Black Cat' vase numbered 1596, possibly by John Barker, the vase of tapered form with wavy rim features the slender black cat sat on a wall, height 24cm. CONDITION REPORT Firing imperfections throughout. Some minor patches of crazing. Rubbing, scuffs and re-glued section to top rim. Small area of glaze missing from neck. Slight 'bleeding' to black slip decoration.
A pair of early 20th century French Sarreguemines baluster vases in the Oriental style, amber drip glaze ground with turquoise interior and panels, with applied Oriental-style gilt decoration, marked to base 'Sarreguemines 848', height 36cm (2). CONDITION REPORT Some age-related wear in the form of small surface scratches, some small areas of raised decoration, some small areas of over painting to the gilding. Small hairline to interior neck of one vase, no obvious signs of restoration.
Attributed to Burmantoft; a large onion-shaped vase with long neck, mustard base with red drip glaze to the neck, impressed mark to the base, height 51cm. CONDITION REPORT Age-related wear in the form of overall crackle/crazing to the glaze. Small chip to the bottom of vase, not visible when displayed. Possible small hairline to the mustard bowl of vase, or possibly larger area of crazing. No obvious signs of restoration.Backstamp too indistinct to make out various firing pinhole imperfections and crazing throughout, dull speckled residue throughout
