A Chinese famille rose porcelain charger, 47 cm diameter, a pair of similar vases, 26 cm high, and two spelter figures (a.f.) (5) Condition report Report by GH Chinese famille porcelain charger: There is a large repaired broken off piece to one side of the piece, with an 8 cm radius, on the opposite side there is a large rim chip and there are various smaller rim chips in other places. Pair of Vases: One vase has a major rim chip/damage, and a hairline crack running down almost the entire length of the vase, which is visible both internally and externally. Its pair is in better condition but with visible restorations, rim chips and general wear and tear. The pair of spelter figures present reasonably well but one of the two has its hand's broken off, however we do still have the hand, so this could repaired, otherwise no obvious damages.
A Chinese porcelain vase and cover, decorated prunus in underglaze blue, 22 cm high, and a similar vase, 20 cm high (2) Condition report Report by GH Vase and cover: The cover itself is in good condition with some ingrained dirt but no obvious chips or cracks. The vase itself has some very small firing blemishes to the rim, but otherwise appears very good. The second vase presents in very good condition with no apparent cracks or chips, but very occasional minor blemishes. Firing marks.
A Chinese porcelain sang-de-boeuf vase, 19 cm high Condition report Report by GH Overall good with seemingly no cracks, chips, repairs or damage. Glaze is good with strong colour. There is a small chip to the foot rim but this is only visible from beneath not from the side, see photo.
A Chinese porcelain vase and cover, decorated dragons, 26.5 cm high Condition report Report by GH Assorted small chips to rim. Small chip on one of the dragons, specifically on a knee. Also gold finish on the dragons is worn and mainly rubbed off. Body of vase is generally good, but there is a larger chip on the foot-rim. The cover appears to have no damage but some crazing to the underside, and it should be noted that there is a loose fit in the top of the vase.
A Chinese transition vase (a.f.), 17.5 cm high Condition report Report by GH Several possible hairline cracks and several actual cracks. The first running from the rim to the centre of the face vertically. Around the rim there is also an area of obvious restoration where this crack is and repainting. The area of restoration is around 3 cm wide x 5 cm long. There are several hairline cracks visible to the interior of the vase and externally, there is also crazing to the glaze. Loss to the decorative paint, two holes on opposite sides of the shoulder of the vase, possibly used as a handle of some sort, there is also a large crack running across the foot of the vase totalling around 20 cm in length with possible restoration areas in and around this crack but overall presents reasonably well.

(2) See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by GH First vase Partially broken handle at the bottom end. Loss of the gilding down all for edges and to majority of the detailing. No other cracks, apparent damage or obvious restoration. Second vase Has had major damage to the rim which has been restored but is now flaking off. There is also a hairline crack from the restoration horizontally, about 7 cm in length which is visible on the inside and outside. One of the handles has been broken off at the top and reattached. Much of the gilt detailing and gilding has been rubbed off with small areas remaining. No other cracks or damage.
A pair of Chinese porcelain famille rose vases, (one cracked) 29.5 cm high (2) See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by GH One vase has a hairline crack of around 8 cm going down vertically from the rim down the centre of the front of the vase. This crack is visible both internally and externally. Otherwise gilt decoration is rubbed, but some still visible. There is also one small hairline crack on the footring. Otherwise no visible damage or restoration. The other vase is generally good with no chips, cracks or damage, but the gilt decoration, as with the other is generally rubbed, with only some still visible.
A Royal Dux porcelain figure, of a female potter decorating a vase, 20 cm high, and a Derby porcelain figure, of a putti with fruit, 17 cm high (2) Condition report Report by GH The Putti: chipping to the fruit and foliage on top of the head with evidence of repainting. Further chipping to fruit and foliage in other areas, including in the fruit basket and on the base, possible restoration to fingers on both hands. Small chip to little finger of left hand. Slight crazing to the glaze, but no major damage. Secondly, the Royal Dux figure: overall good with no evidence of damage, cracks or restoration. Occasional scratch and some ingrained dirt, but overall good.
A Chinese red and white glass vase, decorated fruit, leaves and fauna, 11 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by GH Some very minor rim chips and similarly some very minor chips to the foot-rim. Otherwise apparently, no cracking, damage or obvious restoration. Generally good.
A small quantity of oriental items, comprising: a Chinese red lacquer bowl and stand; a Chinese blue and white cylindrical vase; a crackle glaze jar; and a figure group of a lion and serpent. Condition Report: CYLINDRICAL VASE: No visible signs of chips or cracks, has minor chipping to top rim. CRACKLE GLAZE JAR: Undamaged, possible missing lid RED LACQUER BOWL AND STAND: Bowl centre - water damaged. Both pieces have lost their shine. LION & SERPENT: Appears undamaged.
