A Chinese Sung Dynasty Qing Bai glazed vase, with vertical moulded body, bronze mounted rim and spreading circular fluted foot rim, with Cunliffe Collection label to underside, height 14cm. Provenance: Cunliffe Collection Sale, Bonhams, 11/11/02, no.23/3. CONDITION REPORT: Appears to have been reduced at some stage, there is a 3" hairline to the rim, a smaller hairline and some very minor nibbles to the foot rim.

A finely carved 19th century Chinese ivory figure of Guanyin wearing an elaborate headdress and holding a vase containing a lotus, standing on a lotus pod base above lotus leaves, signed on red seal to base, height 33.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Small loss to the headdress as can be seen in the front of the photograph, possibly been reglued at some stage across the base, but no signs of breaking, there are a couple of old splits to the base also, generally very good condition.

An early 20th century Japanese turquoise glazed vase, the central section double walled with reticulated spherical outer wall enclosing two dragons in relief, the base section decorated in relief with crashing waves, with twin Buddhist lion handles, on three toad modelled feet, unmarked, height 26.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Firing crack to the upper rim, one of the dogs is missing the tip of his tail, a few small chips around the aperture of the central reticulated section, few surface scratches, otherwise OK.

A Japanese Meiji period Satsuma tapering cylindrical vase, finely painted to the body with a continuous band of figures in a procession within a wisteria border, the narrow neck decorated with gilt band above band of chrysanthemum sprays, gilt seal mark to base, height 31.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Crazing throughout and very minor rubbing to the decoration.

CONDITION REPORT: Minor rubbing to gilding around the rim, also minor gilt and paint rubbing to the base rim, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

CONDITION REPORT: Rubbing to gilding on the pair of vases. The single vases has been drilled through the base. Crazing throughout.

An unusual Japanese Meiji period Satsuma cylindrical tall vase, the neck with detailed gilt heightening, a blue and yellow ground main body decorated with a kitten playing with a ball of string beneath a floral spray and painted with butterflies, painted character mark to base, 37.5cm, with associated wooden stand. CONDITION REPORT: Has a hairline, which is visible in main photo. Crazing elsewhere, otherwise good.

Lot 706

A Moorcroft cream ground lamp base, a Moorcroft pomegranate decorated vase (af), and a small green ground footed Moorcroft bowl decorated with pink hibiscus (3). CONDITION REPORT: The pomegranate vase has a 3cm x 1cm area of damage to the rim which has been badly repaired, a couple of further grazes and surface scratches and a 1cm x 0.5cm chip to the foot rim. There is a 3cm hairline crack to the base of the lamp. The footed bowl is OK.

An Art Deco Carlton Ware flared sleeve vase, decorated with an exotic bird, no.3527, height 20.5cm (small chip to upper rim). CONDITION REPORT: One repaired chip and one further chip to upper rim. Slight rubbing to gilt.

Lot 723

Two Troika slab vases decorated by Sylvia Vallence, one on a white ground, the other on a blue ground, both with painted marks and artist's monogram to base, height of each 17.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The blue ground vase has a section which has been broken in two around the rim and crudely glued, also a fine hairline crack running down one side and some crazing, otherwise OK. The white ground vase has a very fine hairline crack running for approx 5cm to one corner, also two minute chips to the rim, otherwise OK.

Lot 724

A Troika cylindrical cream ground vase painted by Honor Curtis, height 15.25cm and 22.2cm, and a square sectioned textured vase, both with painted marks and artist's monogram to base, CONDITION REPORT: The cylindrical vase has obviously been used and is rather dirty, has some surface scratches and a couple of minute chips to the foot rim. The square sectioned vase again shows signs of use, some very minor surface abrasion, a minute chip to the corner of the foot rim, otherwise OK.

CONDITION REPORT: One handle of the Noritake vase has been broken off but is present. Another is cracked. Some crazing to glaze and general slight abrasion to paintwork commensurate with age.

Lot 873

A small quantity of ceramics including an early 20th century Dresden pierced dish on integral stand, a Royal Worcester florally painted cup and saucer on a pale turquoise ground, date stamp 1876, a mid 19th century gilt heightened orange swag patterned Davenport cup and saucer, a floral coffee can and saucer, two Crown Derby rose decorated plates, a Royal Worcester blush ivory twin handled urn shaped vase, etc. CONDITION REPORT: The Royal Worcester blush ivory has damage to its paint in the background behind the floral decoration. Some crazing to the glaze on the Davenport cup commensurate with age. Abrasion to the charger. Rubbing to gilded paintwork.

Lot 915

Four Royal Doulton figures; HN2315 "The Last Waltz", HN2193 "Fair Lady", HN3798 "Eliza" and HN1370 "Marie" and a Royal Doulton circular bowl of roses and a smaller Aynsley example of tulips and an Aynsley bud vase (7). CONDITION REPORT: Doulton rose bowl has a tiny chip to one of the roses and a leaf. The tulip bowl is damaged. The rest is in good condition.

Lot 933

Four Royal Doulton figures; HN3813 "Charlotte", HN3802 "Daisy", HN2229 "Southern Belle", HN2309 "Buttercup" and three pieces of Mason's Ironstone "Chatreuse"; ginger jar and cover, bud vase and ashtray (7). CONDITION REPORT: Doulton figures in good repair with no sign of damage or repair. Mason's: ginger jar lid cracked and crazed, other Mason's items minor crazing to glaze

Lot 942

A small collection of Doulton stoneware comprising a bottle vase with green mottled neck, a cylindrical vase with spreading circular foot, a baluster vase and a squat twin handled bowl (4). CONDITION REPORT: Cylindrical vase has been restored to neck otherwise pieces are in good condition with no other signs of damage or restoration.

Lot 943

A small collection of Doulton stoneware comprising a gilt heightened florally decorated bottle vase with blue neck, a similar example with pink floral decoration and gilt heightened neck, a yellow/green ground jug and pink and turquoise Doulton Lambeth dish (4). CONDITION REPORT: One bottle vase has a 1cm chip to the underside of the top rim. The dish seems to have lost it's three feet. The other bottle vase has restoration to a break on its neck. Jug has hairline crack to base.

A late 19th century green urn shaped glass vase with an oval pink and white painted panel of a rustic youth within gilt painted framework, height 33.5cm and a pair of urn shaped satin opaque glass vases on integral circular plinth painted with flowers and birds, height 37cm (3).
