A collection of Chinese objects of virtu, 19th century and later, to include a cinnabar lacquer baluster vase, 23m high, two tile inset bookends, reputedly from the Temple of Heaven, Peking, tiles measuring 13cm x 9.5cm, a pair of lozenge shaped cloisonné cache pots, 19cm wide, a pair of blue ground dragon decoration vases, 11cm high, a green ground cloisonné baluster vase, 15.5cm high, a cloisonné hinged box and cover, 8cm x 9.5cm, and a lacquered vesta box and striker, 8cm wide (11) (at fault)Condition report; Pair of cache pots - Each with visible surface staining both internally and externally. Pitting visible throughout. Small minor loss of enamel to one. No obviously concerning dents or condition issues apart from commensurate ware, pitting and staining. Pair of vases - each extensively dented and with enamel loss. Green vase - dent and enamel loss to the rim/neck. Noticeable dent to the shoulder of the vase. Cinnabar vase - Extensive ware can be seen around the neck and foot including fracturing, dents and losses. Base missing. Rim lifting. Despite this, the actual body of the vase and its decoration is competent and in good order. Bookends - each tile cracked and re-glued. Chips visible.

A Royal Worcester blush ivory twin handled vase, late 19th century, shape number 871, of bulbous baluster form with flared neck and incised floral collar and foot, the body with relief moulded gilt floral sprays, the neck with continuous relief moulded floral and foliate friezes above and below a central knop meeting gilt handles with scroll terminals, puce maker's mark for 1888 to base, 29cm high (at fault)
Two terracotta vases, late 19th/early 20th century, each of tapering cylindrical form, the bodies with gilt highlighted incised foliate decoration enclosing painted panels, one titled "Carnarvon Castle", the other titled "Conway Castle", each with incised marks to base, each 24.5cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT:Both vases show ingrained dirt and consequent colour variation across the surface. The Conway Castle vase shows a firing crack with consequent flaked loss to the rim. The Carnarvon Castle vase shows no obvious chips, cracks or losses. Both show residue to the foot rim, rubbing to the gilt highlights and surface wear throughout.
An iridescent glass vase in the manner of Loetz, of flared cylindrical form, decorated with an all over trailing design against a green ground, 14cm high CONDITION REPORT:The piece shows the odd small blowing fault and minor surface wear throughout, but no obvious chips, cracks or restoration. The piece is dirty and would benefit from cleaning.

A Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain brush rest of scroll form, the top depicting two figures by a fence in a garden, the turquoise glazed base bearing seal mark, 7 cm x 4 cm, together with a Chinese porcelain cylindrical seal decorated with a horse and script, 4.4 cm diameter x 5.5 cm high, a porcelain tea bowl decorated with figure feeding a cockerel with script mark, 5 cm diameter x 3.8 cm high, a small porcelain bowl decorated with flowers in a vase and script mark, 6 cm diameter x 2.6 cm high and a porcelain bowl with basket work outer cover, bears seal mark to underside, 6.3 cm diameter x 3 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The brush rest has some small chips, particluarly to one side of one scroll base. Some firing faults particularly noticeable to the red margins. Wear to the paintwork and to the enamel throughout. Some roughness to the feet. Seal has varying firing faults, surface scratches, etc. Tea bowl with cockerel has wear to the gilding and paintwork. There is a hairline fracture running from the rim right through the body. Tea bowl with vase of flowers to the interior has wear to the gilded rim as well as losses to the gilding to the centre. The basket mounted tea bowl has many hairline fractures throughout as well as a couple of chips to the rim and wear to the enamel. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults, losses to the gilding and enamel decoration, etc. All in need of a clean. See images for further detail.

A collection of Japanese Meiji period Kutani ware vases including a moon flask shaped vase with brass rim bearing six character mark to base, 15.5 cm high, together with twenty-two other vases various CONDITION REPORTS The baluster shaped vase has several hairline cracks running from the rim and repairs to chips to the rim. Smaller baluster shaped vase has all-over crazing. Cylindrical vase has repair to the rim, all over crazing and star cracks to base. Pair of cylindrical tapered vases - one has a large repair to the base. Neck has been broken and repaired all the way up to the top. The tea caddy has areas of loss to the enamel especially on the neck. The moon flask style vase appears to have had a repair to the top with a brass shank applied. The tall elongated vase has severe damage throughout. The rim and neck have been badly restored and there are still pieces missing. There is a hole to the base. Single cylindrical tapered vase has a repair to the rim. Small onion-shaped vase - neck has been off and reglued and is loose. The four small baluster shaped vases - two have signiicant crazing and some losses to the enamel and gilding. Modern cylindrical vase has all-over crazing, possibly made to look that way? Twin-handled vase has hairline crack running from the rim down and a repair to the rim. The squat vase has a star crack to the base. Vase with flared base has large area of damage / restoration to the base as well as signs of crazing throughout. The flared vase has heavy crazing throughout. The white ground vase with bird decoration has losses to the enamel work throughout. Medium sized baluster vase has all-over crazing. All items with general wear and tear to include surface scratching, knocks and nibbles, in need of a clean, etc all conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
