Various Japanese and oriental porcelain (Meiji period 1868-1912) to include a Japanese Imari double gourd vase with all over floral decoration, 8cm high, a Japanese Imari bowl, an Imari Saki bowl, with character marks to underside, a similar marquise shaped dish and tea bowl, also three famille rose enamelled dishes. Pair of Chinese famille rose moon flasks, Qianlong revival, possibly Republic period with grotesque surmount handles decorated with birds of paradise to the centre, all-over foliage on yellow ground to the border, ruyi on turquoise ground to the base, 25cm high. (2) Handles lacking to one vase and chips to rim. Prominent staining and crazing, gilded rubbed and losses to polychrome decoration of both.
Qing dynasty Chinese famille rose mille fleurs large baluster pottery vase with turquoise glazed interior, elephant mask handles (one damaged), reign marks to underside for Yongzheng period, 39cm high. Damage to handle.One elephant handle is lacking / broken off.Hairlines with various small chips to rim.Losses to glaze, mainly to the interior and base.Losses to gilding on rim.Age staining allover.Minor age losses to areas of the floral glaze.
Various 18th century, and later, Chinese and oriental export porcelain to include a blue and white teapot, the exterior with immortal figures in blue underglaze (lacks cover), a blue and white bowl depicting dragon chasing the flaming pearl, bearing earlier character marks to underside, a baluster vase decorated with immortals, etc., the largest 26cm. Various late 17th/early 18th century, and later, Chinese and oriental export blue and white porcelain to include Kangxi period Kraak side plate with artisan leaf stamp to underside, tea bowls, a Japanese vase with cover, etc., also a Caughley style dish decorated in the Chinese style. (8)
Eastern copper ware, mainly of Indian origin to include vases, a charger decorated with deities in relief, a bidri style vase, a pot with cover, etc. (10) Middle eastern copper bowl- H12cm Diameter 22cm. Body bashed across entire surface. Traces of silvering remain. Incised decoration rubbed in places but repousse script appears clear. Copper oxidised on bare surfaces and interior of bowl.
Pair of Belleek cornucopia horse vases on rectangular naturalistic bases, 9cm.Condition report:Nibbles and small old chips to rim of vases. Age staining all over.Prominent staining to base with areas of crazing also. The stains not raised to touch. Further areas of crazing with small nibbles to the underside of both.A few chips to underside of one vase.
Bohemian glassware to include a large cranberry glass vase with applied gilt decoration 30cm high, a smaller scent bottle in the Moser style with applied ormolu shoulder and floral gilt decoration, and another on moulded base. (6) Small chip to rim of large cranberry vase. Prominent damage with old repair to Moser style bottle. Damages to rim of smaller cranberry bottle and chips to stopper of green bottle. Fading and losses to gilding of all pieces.
