A pair of brass andirons, 19th century, the pointed finials above vase, globe and turned knops, terminating in lion claw and ball feet and united by a loose turned stretcher with acorn finial. Height 67 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The overall width (lion paw to lion paw) with the bar in place is 108 cm. The interior width at the rear of the andirons is 50 cm and the interior width of one ball finial to the other is 68 cm. There are a few small dints on the bar and the central bar knop is slightly askew. Both andirons are polished but in good decorative order. Overall an attractive piece.
A Japanese bronze sleeve vase, Meiji period, with key moulded band beneath the rim and with applied relief moulded dragon clutching a pearl entwined around the body, nine character mark framed by two dragons. Height 30.4 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Base diameter 11.8 cm. There are traces of verdigris on the dragons claw clutching the pearl and along the bottom edge. The pearl within the claw has split and left a 10 mm x 4 mm hole. In general the patination is consistent throughout however there are some small fingernail size rub spots to the upper section at the rear and also all around the base. Otherwise there are no further obvious visible faults.
A Chinese carved blackwood vase stand, late 19th century, with rouge marble inset top and carved fruiting vine apron supported on dragon mask cabriole legs with relief foliate carved decoration, all united by a cash symbol under tier. Surface diameter 22.5 cm, height 52.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top moulding is in four sections which shows signs of shrinkage. Three of these sections have edge rubbing. There are one or two small chips to the decorated apron but in general this appears to be in good decorative order. It is structurally sound.
A Chinese vase, late 20th century, with slightly flaring neck with Ruyi head border above a peony Shou and bat decorated neck above a pink ground, with turquoise ground floral shoulder above the main body with opposing dragons and a flaming pearl amongst clouds, all above a spuming wave base, on circular foot with six character Guangxu mark. 39 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This vase appears to be in good condition throughout with no obvious chips, cracks, flaws or restorations visible.
A Chinese polished brass censor, early 20th century, with dog of fo finial and pierced tangrams, the body with panels of birds and foliage, the opposing side with a deer and bear, with stylised mask and ring handles, all on three legs, with cast four character Xuande mark, and a Chinese polished brass vase, relief decorated with opposing dragons facing a pearl and with seven character mark to underside. 21.5 cm and 14 cm respectively.
A Kutani vase, late 19th century, decorated with three panels of scholars within attendance in typical Kutani colours heightened with gilding and signed to the underside Kutani Zo Wataya Sei. 27.5 cm high, a Kutani vase decorated with a long tailed cockerel amongst blossoming flowers, signed Kutani Watano Sei, 30 cm high and a Kutani vase decorated with peacock and hen amongst blossoming peony and birds, signed Kutani Tsukuru, 32 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The vase decorated with peacocks rings out nicely when lightly tapped. There is a 5 mm firing crack to the interior foot rim. There is very light gilt rubbing throughout. Otherwise in good order. The vase decorated with deities has a crazed body throughout. This would have once had a cover which is now missing. The interior glaze is crazed throughout and slightly stained at the bottom. There is a very fine interior hairline crack +/- 3 cm long visible on the interior but not on the exterior, however on the exterior there is a small 5 mm hairline scratch in the red ground. The gilding and painted decoration appears to be good throughout with no obvious flaws. On the vase with the long tailed cockerel the rim gilding has been thoroughly erased. There is a very fine 1 cm hairline crack within the glaze of the rim, a 1 cm x 2 mm wide paint blister on the rim. There is a 1 cm x 2 mm surface scratch to the foot rim. Overall the decorations and enamels appear to be in good order. There are four small firing pin holes in the main body
A Chinese Canton "Zun" shape vase, circa 1880, the flaring rim with an internal border with panels of peony and flowers, the exterior decorated with panels of figures, birds and butterflies, all against a tight scrolling green and gilt ground. Height 40 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There is light gild rubbing to the rim but otherwise this is in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or restorations.
A Chinese porcelain vase, late 20th century, decorated with a gnarled pine tree upon rockwork before a pagoda, lake and mountainous landscape, two lines of character marks verso, red river stamped Qianlong mark and a further later Chinese vase with printed and enamel decoration, both converted to table lamps. 25.5 cm and 33 cm respectively (minus fittings).

"Yellow Iris" Florian vase, designed by William Moorcroft, circa 1900, with a wavy flared rim with long and slender cylindrical neck leading to the squat body on a circular foot, printed marks and inscribed in green "W. Moorcroft, Des" and also "Mc1485, T". Height 30.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This vase appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or post production flaws.

A group of 20th century Oriental blue and white ware to include a baluster vase with figural decoration, four character marks to base, height 25.5cm. with a non matching cover with dog of Fo finial, a bowl with figural and prunus blossom decoration, diameter 15cm, and two non matching sleeves vases one with figural and prunus blossom decoration, the other with dragon chasing the pearl decoration and abstract design, each with four character marks to base (4).

CONDITION REPORT The black ground baluster vase has age-related wear, chips to the paint on neck of vase, some loss of enamel to decoration, no obvious sign of restoration. Cream ground baluster vase, crackle to the glaze, age-related wear. Tall baluster vase with figures: age-related wear, crackle to the glaze and some discolouration, large under rim chip.

CONDITION REPORT Each vase has damage to the rim, apart from the brown example, which has chips from the foot rim.

A pair of William Moorcroft "Moonlit Blue" vases, circa 1928, each with slightly flared rim and waisted neck leading to an ovoid body decorated with trees against a shaded blue ground, all on a circular foot, signed in green "W. Moorcroft", impressed "Moorcroft" and "Made in England" 80". Height 21 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: One vase appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious post manufacturing faults to include cracks, chips or restorations. The glaze is uniformly crazed throughout. There is a tiny unglazed pimple beneath some tree leaves but this is a manufacturing fault, there are other smaller pimples which are glazed. The other vase has been professionally restored throughout the bottom beneath the tree trunks and also at the base of the neck/top of the shoulder above the tree line. It is only upon close inspection that the restoration becomes evident.
A cut and acid etched glass vase and cover, the cover with a spire shaped knop decorated throughout with lozenge and strawberry cut panels all supported upon a metal stand with scroll and shell feet. 41 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Early to mid-20th century. In good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks, faults or restorations.
Audrey Johnson (1918-2010), still life flowers in a vase, signed and dated 1953, oil on board, 41 cm x 31.5 cm. ARR CONDITION REPORT: The painting is in generally good order with no significant issues. There are some minor scratches to the paint surface particularly to the right of the signature and in one or two other places on the green foreground. These are minor but visible on close inspection. The board is flat and not warped. The gilt frame is very traditional and not really in keeping with the painting and is also in rather poor condition.
A Moorcroft Clematis vase, with blue ground, impressed Moorcroft made in England. Height 32 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a very fine 1 cm long firing crack to the interior of the neck approximately 1 cm down from the rim. There is a small glaze chip to the rim from which issues a star shape crack from which issues a very fine crack in the glaze approx 8 cm long into the body. From this rim chip there is a 1.5 cm fine crack to either side of it and directly below it on the interior all joining up beneath. The interior looks like it may have contained water and flowers at some point in its life. Other than those faults mentioned the remainder of the vase appears to be in good decorative order.
A Royal Worcester hexagonal shaped vase and cover, decorated in the fallen fruits pattern, signed G Delaney, black printed marks, 27.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: There is a pinhead size black spot/discolouration on the rim of the lid but this we believe is a manufacture issue and not something that is disguising a repair or flaw. Otherwise it is in good condition throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or restorations visible.
A pair of Mary Gregory blue glass vases, late 19th century, each hand painted with opaque white enamel of a young boy and girl holding a flower. Height 22 cm. CONDITION REPORT: On the "boy" vase there is a small polished chip on the rim directly beneath which there is a 1 cm square section of surface scratches. At the base of the plants there is an air blister which is a circular air bubble blister which has chipped but has not damaged the main body of the vase. The opaque decoration all appears to be in good order. On the "girl" vase there are two very small interior rim chips. There are three small pinhead size black marks on the apron which cannot be erased. The remainder of the enamel decoration throughout appears to be good however there are small surface scratches on the ground beneath her. Both vases appear to be free from any cracks or other chips.
A Famille Rose vase and cover, late 19th century, the cover with squat knop decorated with an iron red dragon and green enamelled feng, the dragon outlined with gilding, the inverted baluster body and lid with panels of lotus flowers, peony and chrysanthemums all within shaped cartouches and against a tight scrolling floral body with yellow ground and in between Ruyi head and wave borders, stamped four character Qianlong mark. 16 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: One third of the cover has been broken and glued. There is a small chip to the rim at this break and on the opposing side of the break there is a D shaped section of approx 4 cm x 1 cm missing from the interior rim. There is a further thumbnail size chip to the rim. The vase itself is in good decorative order with no signs of any obvious chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.
A pair of Japanese Imari vases and covers, late 19th century, the covers with pointed knops above the inverted baluster ribbed vase, decorated with panels of flowering peony above a false gadrooned border. Height 37.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: One cover is in good order with no obvious faults. The other cover has had the knop broken off and glued. It also has a very fine 1 cm firing crack to the underside of the rim. All items have lost the vast majority of the gilding. One vase has an interior rim chip from top to bottom of the rim and continues a further 4 cm down to the shoulder of the vase. Issuing from the same chip is a small circumferential crack. Both vases ring out nicely when lightly tapped.
A Victorian pink satin glass oil lamp, with brass mounts, converted to electricity. Overall height 31.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This lamp has been converted to electricity. There is no shade or chimney. There is a small dent to the body where the shade would sit. The brass reservoir has a foliate decorated top which sits on the glass body. The glass body is hollow with no signs of any drilling. The electrical cable fits through the middle of the base and goes through the body of the glass to the top fitting. The glass body shows no signs of any visible chips, cracks or restorations. All metalwork has been highly polished. There are no drill holes in the glass body. The wire goes through a manufactured hole at the bottom of the vase then through a hole in the brass reservoir and through to a fitting.
A Chinese porcelain miniature "tea dust" vase, 20th century. 7.2 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This vase appears to be in good order throughout with no signs of any obvious cracks, chips, flaws or restorations. There is a small firing crack to the foot rim which may be visible from the images but this appears to be a manufacturing fault not something that has occurred later. In general a nice attractive piece.
A Chinese blue and white vase and cover, early 18th century, the shallow domed cover with ball knop decorated with butterflies, prunus and lingzhi, the tall neck similar and with a shoulder of prunus blossom and lozenge shells with four cartouche depicting a mountainous landscape, bamboo leaves, fir tree and prunus, the inverted baluster body with long tailed birds amongst peony and branches all above a stiff leaf base, under glaze blue hand painted seal mark for Quangshi (1662-1722). 46.5 cm high.

The vase rings out nicely when lightly tapped.
