A large Mauchline Ware crocus-shape pedestal vase, printed ‘Alloway Kirk, Made of Wood which Grew near Alloway Kirk on the banks of the Doon’, 28cm high, together with three smaller similar vases, printed ‘Laxey Water Wheel’, ‘Memorial of Sir W. Scott’, ‘Elie, and Kilconquor Church’, 17.5cm tall and smaller. (4)
* Tray and box, etc. A Fernware tray, with shaped gallery, incorporating twin side handles, 31cm wide, together with a Fernware trinket box, with oval photographic view of Ventnor, 15cm wide, and a Fernware specimen vase, on turned base and flared foot, 19.5cm tall. (3)
* A collection of six George III and Victorian tally irons, including one with turned column with vase finial, on three cabriole supports, 28cm high. The tully iron was probably introduced into England in the 17th century. It was heated inserted an iron bar which was removed before use. The material was pressed across it in circular sweeps to achieve a scalloped effect.. (6)
* An early 20th century bisque porcelain figural group, modelled as a young boy at his desk before a young maiden carrying a basket of vegetables, 25cm high, together with a bisque porcelain figure of a learned gentleman sitting on his chair, on c-scroll base, 23cm high, and a bisque porcelain grape and vine baluster vase, 19cm high. * A tapered vase in blue, green, turquoise and purple, by Elizabeth Raeburn (b. 1943), impressed mark to base, 25cm high, together with a curved ornament by the same hand, plus a small cup on raised foot with white and brown dripping glaze on darker brown ground, impressed mark to rim of foot, 9cm high, a bowl of circular form with flared rim decorated with a two-tone salt glaze, 10cm high, another vase in the manner of Elizabeth Raeburn, 19.5cm high, a conical studio pottery cylindrical vase, by Rodney Lawrence (b. 1950), incised with a naked young boy running with a water fountain above his head and another boy at play, on a cream ground, impressed mark, 18.5cm high, plus a cylindrical two tone vase decorated with Indian caricatures 16cm high. Rodney Lawrence studied at Harrow School of Art and was a student of David Leach. He set up a studio with partner Elizabeth Raeburn in Somerset in 1976. Both Rodney and Elizabeth have exhibited widely and their works are in many private collections and museums across the world..
