Incorporated in 1894 by George Rodman Shreve and Albert J. Lewis, it is considered to be the oldest commercial establishment in San Francisco. The store was one of very few buildings to survive the 1905 earthquake.

Basket - scratched and with some rubbing. Another teapot - with broken spout and rubbed handle. Footed Bowl - chips to the floral elements and scratches to the inside. Staffordshire Dogs - with the usual wear. Celadon Vase - drilled, otherwise OK. Remaining items as found.
