A Good 18th Century Indo-Persian Pesh Kabz, the 28cm T-section curved steel blade double edged for the last 18cm, with raised medial ridge and reinforced swollen tip, each side of the blade with gold koftgari decoration of a pendant vase cartouche over a tazza, with flowerheads and leaves at the ricasso, the spine and hilt with birds, flowerheads and Persian script, with marine ivory grip scales, possibly walrus, with small hinged minaret pendant pommel, 41cm, lacks scabbard. The blade has minor grey patching commensurate with age. The ivory grip scales have fine age cracks at the pommel and bolster. Lacks scabbard. Generally in good condition and of fine quality.
A pair of red Jappaned side chairs, in George II style, late 19th/early 20th century, in the manner of Giles Grendey, each vase shaped splat decorated with figures in a village scene, above the tapering padded seat, on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet at the front, joined by a H-shaped stretcher, each 104sm high, 57cm wide, 58cm deep, together with a black Jappaned side chair, late 19th/early 20th century, in the manner of Giles Grendey, the caned back with central vase shaped splat decorated with figures and architecture, surmounted by a scroll and shell decorated top rail, above the shaped and caned seat, the apron centred by a carved shell, on shell carved cabriole legs terminating in claw on ball feet at the front, joined by a H-shaped stretcher, 103cm high, 58cm wide, 58cm deep
