An English porcelain pot pourri vase and cover, probably Coalport, circa 1840, with flame finial, the mazarine blue ground with floral painted panels, on paw feet, height 13cm, together with another matching vase (no cover), a Davenport small dish, a 19th century wine glass engraved with fruiting vines, and other pieces.Condition report: Vases - One of the vases has had a paw foot reglued - please refer to image. Generally gilding is rubbed. Otherwise they appear to be free of chips, cracks and restoration. Glass - a few minor scratches around 1cm below the rim. Other pieces appear to be in good order, free of damage, restoration etc.
A Royal Worcester dish with floral painted decoration, printed marks and date code for 1902 (?) to base, 24cm x 24cm, together with a Royal Worcester urn, shape no. 1960, Rd.No. 301164, date code for 1903, another vase, a Locke & Co. The porcelain is in good condition with no cracks or crazing and very few signs of surface marks or wear. A pair of German porcelain Carl Thieme, Potschappel pedestal vases, covers and stands, late 19th century, each painted with classical figures and with encrusted fruit and floral decoration, overall height 47cm.Condition report: Vase 1There is a glazed factory chip to the underside of the foot rim and two firing cracks, general light losses to the encrusted extremities.Vase 2 The vase is loose where the socle joins the main body of the vase, some losses to the extremities of the decoration, the base has three small chips to the top rim.
A pair of early 19th century Derby porcelain imari and gilt decorated pot pourri vases, of squat form, with pierced rims and applied masks, raised on four paw feet upon quatrefoil bases, red coronet over D painted marks to bases, the lids with pierced rim and floral bud lift. Height 15cm.Condition report: Vase 1:There is a lot of black pitting to the base of the knop with further pitting visible to the lid, slight internal crazing. The gilt green man masks are slightly worn to the uppermost point.Vase 2:The cover has restoration to the pierced section of the edge, some pitting, internally slightly crazed and a rough blemish, some gilt rubbing.
A late 19th century Helena Wolfsohn Dresden vase and cover of large proportions, painted with two Watteau esque panels of figures in gardens, within gilt Rococo scrolls, on floral and gilt decorated turquoise ground, the cover having similar decoration, AR mark to base. Height 63cm.Condition report: This substantial piece appears to be free of damage or repair, there is light gilt rubbing and a blemish visible to the underside of the cover flange, otherwise good.
