A Moorcroft copper enamel "Pomegranate" miniature vase (boxed), two small Moorcroft "Pomegranate" vases and two Moorcroft "Pomegranate" shallow bowls (5) CONDITION REPORTS Smaller Moorcroft vase - some light scratches to the glaze. Larger Moorcroft vase - large chip to rim, smaller chip to rim, light scratches to the body. Smaller pin dish - two cracks to the rim, small scratches throughout. Large pin dish - some light scratches, some evidence of crazing. Pot in a box - some light scratches throughout - all items have general small signs of wear and tear.
A 19th Century Staffordshire pottery "Aesop's Fables" vase group as the fox and crane, a Staffordshire hollow based figure of a Turkish musician, Staffordshire figure of a toper by barrel, another hollow based figure as a gentleman in top hat with cane and another with seated man and spaniel CONDITION REPORTS Aesop's Fable figure has various firing faults, chips to the ears, all over crazing. Has had some repairs visible underneath. The storks head has been off and one branch has been completely restored. Appears to have had over painting and 15cm in height. Turkish figure - the musicians instrument has been broken and is half missing; has firing flaws, discolouration especially to the back as well as restoration and re-painting all over. Has been broken at the waist and re-attached. All over crazing, measures 11cm. The gentleman with the barrel has had restoration throughout especially to the hat and barrel appears to have had some re-painting. Has general dirt, all over crazing, discolouration and staining. measures 12cm. The man with the stick has been significantly restored especially to the hat and at the waist, has been re-painted and has discolouration, firing faults etc all over. Measures approx 12cm.
A collection of Chinese blue and white wares including a dragon decorated jar and cover, floral spray decorated vase, a baluster shaped vase with decoration of entertainers (drilled as a lamp), two plates and an elongated octagonal dish decorated with chrysanthemum in garden setting and two modern famille rose plates CONDITION REPORTS Jar and cover - rim with various small chips, light scratches to the body throughout, chip to the glaze to the base - see images. Lid with some chips to the base, light scratches throughout. Floral vase - white paint marks throughout, light scratches to the glaze, chip to the base, large chip to the glaze of the rim - see images. Baluster shape vase - has been in the past converted to a lamp with a drill mark near to the base and a cork glued into the neck, light scratches to the body, orange marks to the body throughout. Two blue and white plates with various cracks, chips, repairs, scratches etc throughout. Two modern famille rose plates with large repairs, cracks, chips and scratches etc throughout. Octagonal plate - scratches to glaze. All items showing signs of general wear and tear throughout. The rectangular plate measures 37cm x 29cm. the lidded pot measures approx 25cm including lid and excluding base

Gunnel Nyman for Nuutajärvi-Notsjö, a glass Serpentiini or Serpentine vase, designed 1947, the clear colourless glass encasing an opaque white glass spiral, etched marks 45½cm (18in) Literature: Finnish Modern Design: Utopian Ideals and Everyday Realities, 1930-1997, Aave and Stritzler, fig. 29 Other Notes: Gunnel Nyman (1909-1948) An important Finnish designer who worked for the Nuutajärvi glassworks from 1942. The quality of light when embodied in glass was a major interest for Nyman. She was interested fluid, organic forms which could be trapped within the glass by use of bubbles or, as with this vase, opaque white glass. The Victoria and Albert Museum hold one of her Serpentine Vases as part of their permanent collection. It was one of the last works she designed before her early death.
A large and impressive Gouda Pottery lustre vase, by J.W. van Schaik, circa 1910, possibly an exhibition piece, the ovoid body with gold abstract panels, bordered with ruby lustre, matched at the foot, and separated by frets in tones of blue, painted temple, unique plazuid Gouda Holland and JvS to base 47cm (18in)
