Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars, a small Drunken Bricklayer vase, in tangerine glass with textured finish, unsigned, 21.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: We can find no evidence of restoration and the vase appears to be in good condition overall. There is one tiny chip to the front of the bottom block but this does not detract. It is generally rather grubby, particularly to the inside where there is some sort of black residue which comes off with gentle wiping. The white marks just inside the top rim, which are clearly visible in our image, seem to be another residue of sorts and again we think they would come off with a wash or gentle wipe. The indented bubbles to the front centre block are filled with dust. There are some very tiny light scratches (visible only under UV light) in line with age and use as a vase, however we cannot see any cracks.
