A pair of large ruby glass lustres, with gilt and enamel decoration and prismatic drops, 37 cm high (one a.f.) (2) Condition report Report by GHOne vase with a rim chip and both with occasional very small nibbles. One with one of the lower lustre drops missing and almost all of the drops have various chips and losses, particularly towards their tips. Paint and gilding generally rubbed.

Otherwise no obvious cracks, chips, damage or restoration.Money box: Small nibble or glaze blemish to the lion's nose on the finial. Another similar down the side of the finial. Other occasional minor glaze blemishes and faults, however no obvious cracks, chips or restoration.
A Doulton Lambeth lamp base, 28.5 cm high, and two similar items (3) Condition report Report by GHOne large and one small rim chip to the top of the column shaped vase. Some minor glaze blemishes to the body. One or two small nibbles to the footrim. No obvious cracks or restoration. The thin tapering vase has a couple of small crazed areas to the body and some light scratches and marks. The wider, larger vase has a long hairline crack running from the top rim down by around 10-12 cm, visible from both sides, and another smaller hairline crack to the top rim.
A Royal Doulton stoneware vase, decorated flowers and foliage, a cross, and monogram, 7466, 27.5 cm high Condition report Report by GHOne chip on the body of the vase below one of the monograms on the blue panel. One glaze fault and area of loss on one of the leaves of the flowers, also on the main body of the vase. Some scratching and other glaze blemishes or small nibbles to the body. Three very small footrim chips and some tiny nibbles to the footrim. no obvious cracks or restoration.

An exceptionally fine large Japanese bronze vase of tall, slightly tapered form, the shallow neck detailed with butterflies and insects, the body engraved and decorated in high and low relief with flying finch amidst mop head hydrangeas, leafage and blossoms, all in silver, gold, copper and shakudo, stepped circular foot, 47cm high, signed 大日本嘉幸造 Dai-Nihon Kako zo [Made by Kako, Great Japan], the artist Suzuki Chokichi 鈴木長吉(1848-1919), whose art name was Kako 嘉幸., an Imperial Craftsman, Meiji period (converted for electricity and partially drilled through signature, the top bearing three solder points to the upper rim)嘉幸 Kakō (Suzuki Chōkichi鈴木長吉) was born on the 15th of the eighth month of Kaei 1 (1848) and was appointed as the chief of the metal craft division of the Kiryu Kosho Company. He exhibited at many of the inland and international expositions of the time. In Meiji 29 (1896), he was appointed as an Imperial Craftsman (Teishitsu Gigei-in 帝室技芸員). He died on the 20th of January, Taisho 8 (1919), aged 72. In Meiji 28 (1895), he exhibited a bronze Eagle at the Nuremburg Exhibition, Germany. He exhibited at the 1876 Philadelphia, at the 1893 Chicago Columbus, at the 1900 Paris Expositions and won many awards. In Japan, he exhibited at the 1881 Second Inland and 1890 Third Inland Industrial Exhibitions. His works can be found in the Khalili collection.
