Possible replaced cover to one of the ink boxes. Wear to the decoration.

One vase has a star haircrack on the underside of the base and a crack near the rim, and various chips both to the surface and rim. The other has some chips. Both have surface losses and firing faults. One lid is chipped. They have been used as lamps up until recently, but not drilled.

Flambe glazed bottle vaseChinese, 18th Centurymodelled with a globular body and wide cylindrical neck, covered in a deep red glaze, with an applied gilt metal stand with elephant head supports, 41.5cm high The stand has been applied fairly poorly and has a lot of white residue, possibly polyfiller, the base has chips but very hard to see due the mount so can't comment on the condition. The vase has plenty of wear and scratches with age.
