An early 20th century Japanese Satsuma vase. With crackle glaze, decorated with floral and gilt motifs, H37cm Condition Report: No impressed marks but a symbol painted on the base. Some large chips and a hairline crack to the base. Areas of rubbing to the gilt and decoration but other wise good with some signs of wear. Colours bright with no apparent restoration.
Royal Worcester blush ivory vase and cover, c. 1905, decorated with panels of thistles and flowers, glazed in green and gilt, shape no. 1995, no. 316660, green mark to the underside, approximately 20cm high.CONDITION REPORT: The finial is chipped and has an obvious repair to the gilding. The gilding and enamel is rubbed below the finial with glaze impurities and firing bubbles surrounding the rim. The rim is nibbled with a large re-gilded chip. The gilding is rubbed and there is paint lacking to the moulding of the neck and below the central panel. There is a hairline crack running the entire length of the painted panel with paint lacking to the thistle head.
Persian Safavid crackle glazed oviform terracotta vase decorated with blue glazed hunting figures, deer and birds in foliage, with backstamp, 32cm high.CONDITION REPORT: We think this is late 19th/early 20th century. There is a repaired small crack to the rim. There are chips and paint losses to the glaze on the rim. There is a firing crack to the underside. There is a drilled hole to the underside. There is a visible crack to the interior of the vase, not coming through the glaze. There are age-related stains, marks and crazing all over.

Victorian black papier mâché gilt and mother of pearl desk stand with integral stamp box and pen wells, with two later blue glass inkwells, with velvet tooled pull-out writing slide and drawer, 9cm high, 31cm wide and 23.5cm deep.CONDITION REPORT:The gilding is rubbed across the entire top, in particular along the edges and borders. Mother of pearl inlay is chipped and cracked surrounding the inkwells. The inkwells' velvet vase is faded and lifting. The lid is misshapen and damaged on the right hand inkwell resulting in the inability to close. The side plans and lower border are rubbed. The inlaid tooled border of the interior velvet tray is lacking to areas.
