Baluster vase seven - with a hairline crack to the shoulder into the body. Remaining vases with some areas of wear, but generally OK.

Lot 32

A 19th century Canton famille rose lobed dish (a.f.), together with a later Canton famille rose teapot and vase, 26cm by 22cmCondition report: The plate has been repaired and has one or two small elements lacking. There is some heavy wear to the enamel decoration and some rubbing to the gilded surface. The vase has a firing flaw to the base and a hole also. The rim also has a chip. With some rubbing and wear. Teapot has no visible repairs or losses, there are some minor firing flaws and wear to the painted surface.

Vase and cover - with repaired knop, the cover with multiple flea bite chips and rubbing, the main body with a chipped rim and heavy wear. Bottle vase - with poorly repaired rim and a large loss there also. Chipped foot and paint scratches. Baluster vase one - with fully and poorly repaired neck and rim. Rubbing and later gilded decoration. Some losses and paint scratches. Baluster vase two - with rubbing, later gilded decoration, glaze loss and paint scratches. Twin-handled vase - with chipped rim, rubbing and some paint scratches.

Lot 52

Early 20th century and later Canton famille rose porcelain, comprising: three vases (a.f.), tallest vase 26.5cm, a plate, and two small trinket boxesCondition report: Plate - in reasonable order. Box and cover one - chip to the cover. Box and cover two - multiple chips to the cover. Twin-handled vase - fully restored rim and neck, and paint scratches throughout. Baluster vase one - hairline cracks to the neck and shoulders. The central body has had an impact causing fractures that split off in most directions. There is some noticeable glaze loss also. Baluster vase two - has had an impact to the shoulder causing a hole and chips, with multiple cracks emanating throughout the entire vase.

Lot 59

A late 19th century/early 20th century Chinese lacquered table box (a.f.), 29cm by 17cm by 36cm, a Chinese blue and white vase and cover, a Chinese porcelain famille verte ginger jar (lacking cover), an Oriental bronze figure, and an Oriental green hardstone inset table boxCondition report: Ginger jar - lacking cover and with restored shoulders. Vase and cover - with a chip to the rim and some light paint scratches. Bronze figure - the hand is lacking an element, hollow cast, and with heavy wear to the incised decoration, some pitting and one or two very mild surface abrasions. Small cabinet - lacking lock and with dents to the metalwork but otherwise generally good order, though slightly faded to top. Large cabinet - in poor state, the top is loose and the hinges are still attached but the back panel is cracked and freely removable from main body. Side moulding is loose. Metalware is dented, split and loose. Lacquer panels for the most part appear to be in reasonable condition.
