A George III harewood and marquetry inlaid tea caddy of oval form, the hinged lidded top with marquetry inlay of a flower arrangement in a vase, the front with fruits on vine within a basket, the looped handle of the basket entwined with a tied bow encircling the escutcheon, with a twin compartmented interior, 15 cm x 11.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS The caddy is discoloured and faded all over, has some staining and has knocks and bumps and bruises as well as surface scratching all conducive with age and use. To the interior a piece of the rim is missing from the lid and from the base. The lids to the interior sections are present but fall to the bottom. The foiling is flaking all over. Key is present but not working. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. Appears to have been polished fairly recently.

A circa 1900 Japanese Satsuma ware pottery scent bottle, the green ground with gilt floral and foliate decoration, set with cream ground panels of flowers, 5.7 cm high, together with a turquoise and sang de boeuf mottled glazed miniature ink pot of squash form with incised foliate decoration, 3.8 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The satsuma vase is missing a top, has wear where the top would have been sitting as well as other chips etc to the paintwork. Crazing all over, particularly visible in the cram panels and to the base. Surface scratches etc, in need of a clean. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. The inkpot has an area of dirt to one of the segments. some minor chips, mainly to the base.
