To the base further floral cartouche panels to the base with central dragon detailing. Unmarked. Measures approx 4cm x 9.5cm diameter. Condition: some firing faults throughout. Good example.
A late 19th Century Chinese Oriental Tongzhi mark and period Cantonese Canton region porcelain fish bowl / jardiniere planter vase of large size. Hand painted famille rose decoration throughout depicting birds of paradise, butterflies and floral medallions within white cartouche panels with further decoration and gilt to the borders. The interior painted with three goldfish / carp fish. The underside having a four character Tongzhi mark in Kaishu script. Measures approx; 32cm x 37cm. Condition; no visible signs of damage or repair. Please note this may be a later example (1920s) with an earlier mark.
