Goldscheider Art Nouveau Terracotta Vase, signed Kinsburger, the ovoid body decorated with a nude female floating amongst swirling clouds and drapery, with two birds in flight below her, in low relief; the back shows further clouds and birds similar; to the shoulders of the vase sit two complete figures of semi-nude male youths, their arms raised to reach the wavy rim, which flares from the short neck; the whole with a cold painted bronze patina style finish; 13.75 inches high; incised Goldscheider, Wien and Ges. Geschutz marks to upper side of back base, with the usual applied oblong cartouche above, plus the incised signature Kinsburger below the right handle; c1900 Sylvain Kinsburger, (1855-1935), sculpted principally in bronze, with productions in spelter and ceramic including parian and terracotta

Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma Baluster Shaped Vase Of Fine Quality, the body thickly decorated in coloured enamels vivid pinks & purple hues. Depicting a pair of ducks on a riverbank amongst flowering chrysanthemums on a tree tunk, around the body further small birds in flight. The neck of the vase decorated in Japanese symbols highlighted in gilt work & Japanese character marks signed in gold to the side of the vase. 20' in height.
Excellent Pair Of Japanese Famille Noir, Satsuma Vases, superbly hand decorated with cascading wisteria, the foliage in fine gold with the flower heads picked out in white enamel. When comparing the vases it is interesting to note the slight variances, which emphasise that each vase is individually hand painted and each signed to the base gold on red. They are 8'' in height and in first class condition.
