Auf der annähernd halbkugeligen Schulter ein kurzer, schmaler Hals mit senkrechter Wandung und horizontal nach außen gerichteter, wulstiger Randlippe. Innen ziegelfarbener Ton. Außen Schildpattglasur. Minimale Abnutzungen, sonst sehr guter Zustand. Höhe 22 cm.Provenienz: Österreichische Privatsammlung.Zustand: I -A very rare Jizhou Meiping vase with tortoiseshell glaze, probably southern Sung Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty (13th - 14th century) From the small base with a standing ring, the vase continuously widens conically towards the shoulder. On the almost hemispherical shoulder a short, narrow neck with vertical wall and horizontally outwardly directed, bulging rim lip. Brick coloured clay inside. Outside tortoiseshell glaze. Minimal wear, otherwise very good condition. Height 22 cm.Provenance: Austrian private collection.Condition: I -

Fein gearbeitete Vase in Schlägelform aus Longquan-Seladon, südliche Song-Dynastie (1127 - 1279) Annähernd zylindrischer, minimal gewölbter Bauch auf Standring, darüber konische Schulter und langer, leicht konischer Hals mit zwei stilisierten, leicht reliefierten Tierkopfprotomen an den Seiten, oben durch weit ausladenden, trichterförmigen Rand abgeschlossen. Das ganze Gefäß mit Ausnahme der Unterseite des Standrings mit der typischen graugrünen Glasur überzogen. Haarrisse in der Glasur, Brennfehler, geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren. Sonst intakt. Höhe 26 cm.Provenienz: Süddeutsche Privatsammlung.Zustand: I - IIA finely crafted mallet-shaped vase made of Longquan Seladon, southern Song Dynasty (1127 - 1279) Almost cylindrical, minimally domed belly on a stand ring, above it a conical shoulder and a long, slightly conical neck with two stylised, lightly relieved animal head protomes on the sides, finished on top by a wide, funnel-shaped rim. The entire vessel, with the exception of the underside of the stand ring, covered with the typical grey-green glaze. Hairline cracks in the glaze, firing defects, minor signs of use. Otherwise intact. Height 26 cm.Provenance: Southern German private collection.Condition: I - II
