CONDITION REPORT Neck has been broken off and lost and top ground and re-gilded with repair work visible - particularly under UV light. Otherwise some rubbing to the gilt and painted decoration, particularly to the foot rim and some pitting to the glaze.

Royal Worcester; a twin-handled vase painted with flowers, unsigned, puce/purple mark to base and numbered 2317, height approx 16.5cm, two further vases painted with cattle and signed H Stinton and a Locke & Co vase painted with pheasant (all af) (4). CONDITION REPORT The first vase has lost its neck, been ground and restored. The two Stinton vases with large and serious losses to the rims and into the necks. The Locke & Co example has been cracked throughout and crudely glued together.

Lot 353

Royal Worcester; a fine twin-handled ovoid vase with cover, painted with swans, signed C Baldwyn, with green mark and numbered 1515 to base, height approx 27cm. CONDITION REPORT An area of fault (probably in manufacture) only visible from the inside under UV light, which has been painted to the outside with gilt flowers, otherwise some rubbing to the gilt decoration, some minor pitting and areas of discolouration - particularly to the blue ground matte glaze.

Royal Worcester; a baluster vase painted with riverbank scene and with twin moulded lion masks to shoulders, signed H Davies with puce mark and numbered 2305 to base, height approx 28.5cm. CONDITION REPORT The finial of the lid has been off at some point and re-attached with the hairline crack still visible and some loss to the glaze, otherwise some rubbing to the gilt decoration including to the point of the finial and some pitting to the glaze.

Royal Worcester; a twin-handled vase painted with sheep, signed H Davies with puce mark and numbered 2337 to base, height approx 31cm (af). CONDITION REPORT Entire vase has been off just above the knopped stem and re-attached with visible glue and hairline, otherwise some rubbing to the gilt decoration and pitting and minor surface abrasions to the glaze.

Royal Worcester; a Hadley Ware jug painted with flowers, unsigned, with green marks and numbered 221 10 38 to base, height approx 9cm, also a vase with wavy rim painted with flowers, signed K Blake, with puce mark and numbered G957 to the base, height 8.1cm (both af) and a pair of miniature Jasperware twin-handled vases, a miniature baluster vase, miniature basket, a Royal Worcester hand-painted thimble, 'Fruits' signed J. Owen. CONDITION REPORT The Hadley Ware vase has two chips to the foot rim; one partially re-gilded, otherwise some minor rubbing to the gilt decoration and pitting to the glaze. The second vase is heavily restored with a major hairline crack and numerous areas where work and repainting has been done.

CONDITION REPORT Some firing flaws, pitting and rusting to the base and top of charger, visible in photograph. No rim chips, no crazing, no obvious signs of restoration
