A 1961 Studio pottery vase and two bowls, a Studio pottery 'Gloucester' vase and a jug, largest 28cm high First image, top down - good; incised date 1961; 28cm. Jug good; 15cm. Vase good; 14cm. Bowl eight shallow chips around neckrim; 26cm diam. Bowl two chips to neckrim; 24cm diam. Only the large vase is signed and dated.
A Chinese underglaze copper red ‘herder and goats’ vase, Kangxi six character mark but Republic period and a Chinese blue and white lotus stem dish, six character Guangxu mark and period, both damaged Vase large repair to neckrim, as shown; long horizontal crack across body, also shown; firing imperfections around foot. Stem dish chipped and with old restoration, with repainting, both shown.
A Chinese blue and white hexagonal baluster vase, Qianlong mark, 19th century and a blue and white ‘dragon’ jar and cover, 19th century, tallest 36cm (2) Hexagonal vase suffers a ‘crack’ to the glaze (in the manufacture) below the rim to one side. Other piece has firing cracks visible to interior but no damage found.
A Chinese famille verte ‘scholars’ vase and a Chinese powder blue bowl, both 19th century, vase32cm high The bowl has a hairline crack running from the top rim to the base and multiple star and hairline cracks to the base. A few minor chips/nibbles to the top rim. In our opinion the bowl is stable.The vase has been broken and repaired.
A Chinese enamelled felangcai porcelain beaker vase, 19th century and a 19th century Chinese blue and white Prunus vase, jar and cover 21cm high Neckrim and upper area of neck largely restored professionally with re-painting; series of minor chips around footrim, not serious. Baluster jar foot chipped, as shown. Catalogue amendment - no cover with jar.
Beautiful grouping of fine china, fine bone china, or porcelain pieces including: Lefton dotted short bowl with applied roses on front, Spode flat vase in Campanula flower pattern, Rosenthal Group urn shaped vase in Classic Rose pattern, and lastly a small pitcher from Vienna in a pink rose pattern. Largest piece measures 3.5"L x 3"W x 7"H. Condition: Age related wear.
