THREE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS 19TH CENTURY The largest vase painted with two shaped panels, each containing a bearded figure with his attendants, reserved on stylised lotus scrolls, the other two vases painted with birds perched on rocks, surrounded by blossoming peony branches, the covers with beast finials, 44cm max. (6) Provenance: the collection of Vice-Admiral Reginald Vesey Holt, CB, DSO, MVO, (1884-1957), and thence by descent.
A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE SQUARE-SECTION RETICULATED VASE QING DYNASTY Each side moulded with two panels depicting scenes from the Romance of the Western Chamber, a short flaring neck decorated with figures standing on swirling clouds, all within geometric and floral borders, the base incised with a six character Kangxi mark, 50cm. Provenance: from an English private collection, London, acquired prior to the 1960s and thence by descent.

Provenance: formerly a English private collection, acquired in the 1920s.
