A long hairline from the bottom of the neck through the body of approx. 24cm to the same vase.Both vases have wear to the enamel and firing imperfections including pitting, iron spots and fritting. The unrestored vase with cracks to the foot that appears to be firing imperfections.

(2)清十九世紀 廣彩開光繪人物故事圖紋大瓶一對Condition Report: One vase with a restored chip to the mouthrim above the handle of approx. 1.3cm across, which associated with fine chips and overpainting along and below the rim of approx. 16cm across, a horizontal hairline of approx. 7cm connected with a vertical hairline of approx. 4cm all below a section of restored mouth rim which accompanied with a section of overpainting of approx. 15cm across and extending into the inside of the neck of approx. 9cm possibly covering further restoration, overpainting visible under UV light.The other vase with a long hairline from the mouthrim travelling down to the neck with overpainting and spraying of approx. 14cm long. Restorations to the mouth rim of approx. 4cm across, another restoration of 10.2cm to the mouthrim, spraying to the mouth rim. A Y-shaped line of approx. 5cm to the lower middle panel painted with officials and boys in pavilion, and another fainted line above it of approx. 3cm, only visible under UV light from the outside, which the line may not have been through the body.

A hair line associated with another restored chip of approx .5cm long from the mouth rim, a small chip of approx. cm above the foot, nibbling to the foot rim. A Chinese turquoise-ground fahua-glazed baluster vase, meipingMing dynasty, 16th centuryOutlined in shallow relief and enamelled in aubergine, pale yellow and deep blue with two figures under a pine tree and beside a dwelling, the shoulders adorned with large ruyi-heads enclosing lotus blooms, with upright lappet borders encircling the foot.30cm high.明十六世紀 松石綠地琺華人物故事圖紋梅瓶On fahua-decorated ceramics, thin, raised slip lines are used to outline areas of the decoration. Once fired, enamels are applied and the raised slip lines inhibit different coloured enamels from flowing into each other. This style on stoneware or porcelain resembles cloisonné metalwork. It is unusual to have turquoise enamel as the prominent colour, as deep blue is often favoured. Cf. For a vase with similar decoration but with a deep blue ground see Sotheby’s, Important Chinese Art, 3rd November 2021, lot 156. Condition Report: general expected firing imperfections including some crazing, with multiple 0.5-5cm raised slip lines chipped off, upper body broken off in several sections and restored with associated overpainting.

Mounted as a lamp. Kraak dish: An approx. 40mm long 'Y'-shaped hairline starting from a chip to the rim. Firing flaws and nibbles to the rims.Two flower dishes: Nibbles to the rims, one with 38mm long hairline to the rim, another with 3 hairlines to the rim (approx.20mm-40mm).

Another halrine of 2cm to mouthrim. The cover with two areas of restoration along the rim of approx. 6cm and 4cm, both with overpainting. Both pieces with firing imperfections including pitting, iron spots and fritting.

(2)清十九世紀 青花繪龍紋瓶兩件Condition Report: The cloud dragon vase: restored chip and cracks to neck with an infilled chip area totally of approx, 5 x 3cm with spraying and over painting; a hairline next to one end of the restored crack starting from the rim of approx. 21 cm; a hairline from the mouth rim through the neck of approx. 3cm long, a star crack to the inside of the vase with approx. 2cm visible under uv light from the exterior. Firing imperfections including pitting, crazing and iron sports.The peony dragon vase: association of cracks and chips to the mouth rim which further progressed to a hairline from the rim travelled through the bottom of the neck of approx, 6cm and a star crack to the inside of the neck; a chip to the foot of approx. 0.5 x 0.5cm.

(3)清十九世紀 青花梅紋瓶三件,其中一件青花楷書「康熙年製」寄託款Condition Report: Vase with cover: a chip to the outer rim of the cover of approx. 0.6cm, a small chip to the edge of the tail of the dog of approx. 0.3cm, a chip to the inner rim of approx. 1cm. A hair line from the mouthrim of the vase of 3.5cm long extending to the base of the neck for another 3cm.The sleeve vase in good condition.Large baluster vase: a cracked and restored panel to the body of 21 x 18.5cm. a chip to the mouthrim further associated with a hair line of 4cm.All pieces have firing imperfections including pitting, fritting, and iron spots to all pieces.

Three Chinese wucai vesselsQing dynasty, Shunzhi period Comprising: a teapot and cover with metal mounts, and a pair of sleeve vases, all painted with chrysanthemum and peony.The teapot 15.5cm wide, the vases each 17.5cm high (3).清 順治 五彩團菊牡丹紋象腿瓶一對及茶壺Condition Report: The teapot with a large section broken off and reglued. The spout replaced with metal. Small chips to the rim and rim cover. The handle also probably broken off and restuck.One sleeve vase: 6cm hairline to the side, 1cm hairline with a small flaking of the glaze to the rim.The other: Three 5-8cm hairlines to the side.General expected surface wear and small areas flaking/rubbing of enamel of all.

A large Chinese archaistic twin handled Ge type vaseQing dynasty, 19th century, apocryphal Chenghua markThe heavily potted vase of baluster form raised on short splayed foot to everted rim, flanked by a pair of deer handles to the shoulder, a layer of creamy glaze applied in between a band of applied ruyi heads and carved sea waves, the neck with a layer of ge-type glaze, base with carved four-character apocryphal Chenghua mark in archaistic style.44cm high.清十九世紀 仿古鹿耳尊,暗刻「成化年製」款Condition Report: Please note the inside of the vase has not been examined due to the presence of the lamp fitting.A chip to the left horn of one handle, general surface wear commensurate with age, otherwise good condition.
