The small lustre jug with a star crack to base, the char dish is heavily crazed, chips to the foot rim and tight hairline cracks to the body. The Iron stone bowl is stained with chips to the underside, the mug probably should have had a frog which is missing to the interior, staining, faults and crazing throughout.
An early 19th century Staffordshire sponge decorated spill vase modelled on 'The Marriage Act', c1820, height 20cm.Additional InformationUnfortunately there has been significant restoration to this piece, this include the three main figures and the table, both tree uprights, both turrets. One of the branches to the right hand tree has also been detached and reapplied, general surface wear throughout.
