A pair of late 19th century Mettlach-style vases of baluster form, each typically decorated with flower heads in low relief; together with an early 20th century Shelley vase decorated in blue and white in the Chinese taste and a smaller circa 1900 two-handled continental porcelain vase in the Art Nouveau style (4)
A Chinese porcelain crackleware ginger jar and cover; decorated with warriors in battle etc. (25.5cm high)The Auctioneer states that there is a hairline crack to the cover emanating from the lip (the unglazed section inside) and this is also visible outside (see additional images). The hairline crack is approximately 4cm and is more visible on the inside than the outer edge. The main ovoid-shaped vase itself seems in pretty good order. The enamels are fairly bright although there are minor sections away (see images). The underside looks OK in terms of condition although it exhibits dark areas around the edge of the foot as expected. The inside of the vase looks quite dark and discoloured; so in conclusion the only concern is the hairline crack on the cover but it is difficult to discern as the whole of the body has an intentional crackle ware glaze. The main ovoid vase looks good with no chips, cracks or restoration noted.
A large hand-thrown Clarice Cliff vase (25cm high)The item is not perfect we have taken extra images of hairlines emanating from the top of the lip inwards down into the vase. One is approx. 2cm, a pair of cracks are parallel and are visible from the front and on the inside there is also one other smaller crack visible from the inside and visible for up to 3cm on the outside as a hairline. The rest of the vase looks in reasonable condition for its age. There is some glaze crazing and some dirt and minor scuffing to the underside of the foot rim as expected.

A GOOD 17TH CENTURY FLEMISH OAK CUPBOARD, with carved cornice and frieze, carved with a vase and scrolling leaves, supported by three caryatid figures, with two small carved cupboard doors above a base with two larger carved, panelled doors, one long drawer on large, turned, ebonised front feet. 6ft 9ins high x 5ft 4ins wide x 2ft 3ins deep.
