David Hamilton was professor in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art.

MOORCROFT POTTERY POMEGRANATE AND BERRY VASE, the fruits against a shaded blue ground and tapering body. Impressed marks: Moorcroft Burslem and signed in green. 24cm high approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby but appearing overall undamaged, crazing as expected, minor blemish to one of the pomegranates. Some scratches and scuffs to body.
LATE VICTORIAN INLAID ROSEWOOD STYLISED WHEEL TYPE ANEROID BAROMETER, overall with inlaid decoration and having vase finial to broken swan neck pediment, above moulded cornice with mask frieze, thermometer flanked by a pair of Doric turned columns, heart shaped body with scrolled mounts having circular barometer marked: Chadburns Ltd. 47 Castle Street, Liverpool. 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD PEDESTAL WINE TABLE by Gillows of Lancaster, having pie crust 'C' scroll moulded top on turned, fluted and moulded, vase shaped pedestal with triform base of 'C' scroll moulded, outswept legs with scroll moulded terminals. Stamped: 'GILLOWS'. 50cm wide x 73cm high.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Worn, scuffed and scratched with age overall, very grubby and dusty in places, joints to edge moulding of the top opening slightly with shrinkage, old repair noted to edge moulding, maybe an original construction.
17TH CENTURY STYLE WALNUT, RECTANGULAR UPHOLSTERED STOOL with stuff over fringed top on vase shaped, baluster turned legs, scroll and crown moulded front and rear stretchers with baluster turned stretchers to sides and centre on scroll feet. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Appearing sound and undamaged, upholstery is modern.
EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS, ROCOCO STYLE MANTEL CLOCK, the case overall with scrolled foliate mounts, square pillars under an urn shaped finial with circular face, having ceramic Roman numerals on paw and vase shaped feet. Two train brass movement striking on one bell. 51cm high approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Includes pendulum, appears complete, rather tarnished and grubby.
