A BERLIN VASE, DESIGNED BY MARGUERITE FRIEDLAENDER FOR KPM IN 1930 of `Halle` form, elegantly potted and covered with a pale eau-de-nil glaze, sceptre mark, 14cm high; together with a Berlin bowl, probably from the same series, sceptre mark, 17cm diameter (2) Marguerite Friedlaender (1896-1985) trained at the Bauhaus in Weimar, 1919-25, later working at the ceramics studio at the Burg Giebichenstein School of Applied Arts in Halle. In 1933 she was dismissed because of her Jewish background. She emigrated to America from Holland in 1940, continuing to work as a potter and publishing three influential books, under her married name of Wildenhain.

A PAIR OF ARCHAISTIC BRONZE BEAKER VASES (GU), QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY each of square section, the central bulbous section rising from a high spreading foot to a tall flaring neck, cast around the exterior with dragon and stiff leaf bands divided by notched flanges at the corners, 31.5cm high; together with an archaistic bronze baluster vase, Qing Dynasty, the baluster body rising from a recessed base to a short neck with everted rim, cast around the exterior with blades and a band of dragon taotie divided by two loop handles suspending loose rings, 15cm high; and a bronze grain measure, Qing Dynasty, 14cm wide (3)
A Worcester Empire-style Vase, c.1840, with gilt dolphin handles and a floral bouquet panel on a separate waisted knop stem with square foot, 28.7cm high CONDITION REPORT: Tiny flecks of paint loss. Wear to gilding on rim and on top of lever section. No obvious restoration or damage.
A pair of Elkington & Co. gilt and champlevé enamel flared vases, c.1875, decorated in repeating Persian designs with yellow flowerheads within scrolling leaves and pointed arched panels on a light blue ground, stamped ELKINGTON & CO 12109, 19.7cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: One vase has a slightly mishapen rim. There is some deterioration to the gilt finish, especially the interior which is scratched and marked. Loss to enamels, mainly to the bodies, some relatively large losses (some of which show the base metal through). Also some darker areas of restored enamel that have probably been added to earlier losses. Small dents to base and foot rim.

Interior beading supporting glass top is split in one section and loose.
