(18 1/8 x 13 3/4 in), sheet 515 x 395 mm. (12 1/4 x 14 3/4 in), central and vertical folds, small repair in the lower right corner, minor surface dirt, unframed, [circa 1730]; together with four further maps of Barbados, including an uncoloured copy of Moll's map, Emanuel Bowen's An Accurate map of the Islands of Barbadoes, Bellin's Carte de l'Isle de la Barbade, and Le Rouge's Isle St.Christophle une des antilles aux anglois; La Barbade une des antilles aux anglois divisee par Paroisses, engravings, some hand-colouring, various sizes, all unframed, 18th century (5).

(16 1/8 x 18 7/8 in), light off-setting, some tears in the margins, but well outside the maps, unframed, [circa 1747]; together with 6 other maps of Barbados, including Moll's The Island of Barbadoes ...' and 'A New Map of the Island of Barbadoes', three copies of Bellin's 'Carte De L'Isle De La Barbade Pour servir a l'Histoire Generale ed Voyages', and Brian Edwards's 'Map of the Island of Barbadoes; for the History of the West Indies', engravings, some with hand-colouring, various sizes, unframed, 18th century (7).
West Indies.- Barbados.- Bellin (Jacques Nicolas) Carte de l'Isle de la Barbade dressee au Depost des Cartes et Plans de la Marine, fine large-scale maps of Barbados, with the island shown divided into parishes with detail of topography, anchorages, shoals, rocks, etc., and with an elaborate title cartouche in the upper right, engraving on thick laid paper, a good clear impression, platemark 610 x 420 mm. (24 x 16 1/2 mm), sheet 620 x 470 mm. (24 1/2 x 18 1/2 in), some very minor handling creases, spotting, and surface dirt, unframed, with Depot de la Marine anchor stamp at the centre left of map, 1758 and later.
A Mixed Collection Of Military Items Pin Badges Postcards And Measuring Instruments A varied lot to include early 20th century boxed Bike's Hydrometer, a collection of four pocket fruit knives, 1914 Christmas Tin, soldiers paybook, military brass button guard, map viewer, oversized dogtag, odd bages etc.
Ogilvy (John), "The Road from London to Boston in Lincolnshire", a handcoloured engraved strip road map, and a 17th century handcoloured engraved map of Buckinghamshire by Blaeu, plates 34 cm x 44.5 cm and 42 cm x 27.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The road map from London to Boston in Lincolnshire is generally in good order. There are no signs of any tears or repairs. The paper is foxed. There is the usual crease down the centre. It is framed and mounted with a hardboard backing. The map of Buckinghamshire is in good order with no obvious tears or repairs. It is mounted under glass and you can see that it is not laid flat as there are undulations in the paper. The paper is a slight off white colour. There are some foxing spots. It has a hardboard backing with applied label inscribed in ink “Genuine Antique Map Published by Blaeu Circa 1650 and Printed Baynton-Williams”.
A large folding map of Scotland, circa 1850, "A Map of Scotland drawn chiefly from The Topographical Surveys of Mr John Ainslie", etc. CONDITION REPORT: The sleeve is pressed cardboard with a chequer effect. It has an applied printed label for James Wyld, Geographer to Her Majesty, applied label on top of this inscribed “Scotland”, and beneath in ball point pen C-1850. There is a further applied label to the side reading Scotland. The case is in generally good order throughout. The map when unfolded appears to be in very good condition. The white paper is slightly stained throughout. The handcolouring is vibrant. There is a small brown mark on the bottom right corner and also on the bottom left corner in the second section. The reverse of the map shows some brown staining on some of the folds. Overall this is a good example of its type. There are no obvious tears or repairs.
A LATE 18TH / EARLY 19TH CENTURY EMBROIDERED OVAL SILK MAP OF ENGLAND AND WALES, with floral border and inset of classical figure holding title plaque, crowned compass towards bottom edge, indistinctly named and dated, silk in poor condition backed onto linen, oval approximately 51cm x 43cm, later mounted and framed (condition: silk has splits and losses in many areas, silk threads are also faded, text is largely intact)
