Yorkshire – Giggleswick A History of the Parish of Giggleswick original unbound uncut and unopened copy by Brayshaw and Robinson originally published in 1932 (presumably the only edition). Apparently complete with loose plates and map. The published version of this book is considered very scarce. This appears to be even more so.
Railways – Sussex East Grinstead Railway indenture on parchment dated December 23rd 1853 being an agreement between G M Lampson and the East Grinstead Railway Co for the sale of land and the erection of a railway station at Rowfant Crossing on the Railway signed and sealed by all parties to base together with map of the land involved [map in a little fragile condition but clearly legible]

A detailed examination the south coast areas between Littlehampton and Margate with Z-fold aerial images of specific areas of the coast 64pp. Over-stamped ‘23 Oct 1944 First CDN Army Documents Sec’. It would seem from the detailed examination of this area of the south coast that any actual invasion would have happened here.

The book is marked ‘For Official Use Only Govt of India Central Publications Branch Calcutta India 1928. An important army handbook for the Sikhs Regiment. ‘Ex-Libris of ‘The Mountain Battery’ with bookplate and ownership inscription. Barstow was Major of the 2/11th Sikh Regiment (late 15th Ludhiana Sikhs). Contents include origin of Sikhism Lives of the Gurus Sikh Religion Sikh sects and division of the Jat Sikhs Customs Characteristics Agricultural and Recruiting etc. Appendices include List of Districts showing Sikh recruits Description of the Adi Granth and Dasam Granth Rites of Initiation into SIkhism Sikh Gurdwara Act of 1925 Caste System with Map of the Punjab. Rare and scarce 1928 edition.
