Bowles and B. Jones-Bateman, folio, 1833 *An autograph note from R.C. Hoare tipped-in at the front, presents this copy to Charles Bowles, with four lines of poetry, Stourhead, October 1833. A further note on the end paper gifts it to 'Vera from Philip, June 1940 Sir Richard Colt Hoare published this history in a total of 15 parts between 1822 and 1843
