An interesting collection of 51 numbered magic lantern slides in original wooden box relating to the China Clay Quarry at St Stephen in Cornwall. No manufacturers label so most likely amateur produced for lecture purposes. The lid of the box contains a hand written list with a description of slides 1 to 39. A small quantity of rock samples are included in the box. Interesting historical subject matter; images of men at work, china clay machinery and buildings, map etc.Condition report: NOTE: The index in the lid seems not to relate to the slides.
