AFTER GERARD & LEONARD VALCK "Status Ecclesiasticus Magnus Ducartus Florentiae", a hand-coloured engraved map CONDITION REPORTS Quite browned and discoloured, but this is fairly even throughout, in reasonably modern mount but slightly knocked and bumped, there is a crease running towards the lower third of the map from just above the word Thirrenum towards the pink area measuring approx. 18 cm, there is a fold running all the way down the centre where it has come out of a book, there is a circular stain approx. 8 cm diameter under the word Thirrenum under the second "r" and "e", there is a further crease running from the centre across to approx one third of the way across on the right-hand side of the map, it has clearly been stuck down, there is also a crease towards the outer left edge approx. 10 cm, top right corner outer edge has clearly had some extensive restoration (please see photo) and the outer edge is faded from approx. top right corner to about one third of the way down on the outer edge and there is some repair work on this corner.
