A box containing assorted 19th/20th century GWR Railway ephemera to include memos, reports, tickets, various late 19th/early 20th century maps, motoring manuals, cycling journal, souvenir albums, etc. CONDITION REPORTS Has clearly been well cared for, although all the paperwork shows signs of browning throughout and wear to edges and corners conducive to age. GWR Restaurant Car Facilities etc. : paperwork is particularly tatty to edges and has some foxing. Railway magazine 1907 : half the binding is missing top and bottom, is quite browned with some signs of foxing particularly down the edges, is in stable but used condition. Tickets : have all been stuck down onto two pages. Engineering details of the locomotives : all appear to be in reasonably good condition, folded straight down the middle, some browning, slightly dirty, and one is quite creased/folded at top corners. Map in plastic wallet : has folding marks and some ripping along outer edges where it has been folded. There are three folders of tickets which have not been stuck down - appear reasonable, with some original tearing to a couple, but otherwise appear overall reasonably good,. Selection of boxed photographs plus various small booklets - all appear to be in sound condition but with some browning and one or two with a little bit of staining., some fading to photographs. "Bonny Scotland" book is falling apart at the outer binding, and similarly the "Dunoon & District" booklet. Santon Calculator Electric Water Heating book : quite scruffy all around the edges on the cover, but interior is reasonable with some light browning. Cycling & Shipping ephemera again in similar condition, all used, with browning and wear to edges but reasonably sound, with one or two tiny tears. Various collections of maps (mostly folding, with covers) : all quite browned, quite tatty on all the edges, some ripping to folds, maps are not in the best of condition. Selection of wine labels : in used condition, quite yellowed and stuck down, some ripping, not in the best condition. "Elgin" photographs are all quite browned with a large amount of staining, particularly around the staples around the top and along top edges. "Lovely Lakeland" booklet is in poor and quite tatty condition. It is difficult to comment on each individual piece in this Lot - would suggest viewing in person if possible, as although clearly collected and stored with care, all items show signs of some minor damage, browning etc. throughout.
