1928 National Omnibus & Transport Co TIMETABLE for Watford & North London District. Dated March 1928, this is a 96pp booklet with a route map in the centre-fold. These services were later taken over by London General Country Services and subsequently became the northern area of London Transport Country Buses. Other than a corroded staple, the booklet is in first-class condition. [1]

Bakerloo planned extension to Queen's Park shown. Cover has red bullseye circle. Ex-guidebook copy with alternative folding. Very fragile with fold tears and one horizontal fold almost severed. [1]

Shows the planned extensions of the Central Line to Denham and Ongar, the Northern Line to Bushey Heath & Alexandra Palace and the Bakerloo to Stanmore. Features the less thickened lines and smaller inter-change diamonds. 33" x 26" (84cm x 66cm) and folded, a few light creases, scuffing/minor damage at bottom r/h edge, couple of small foxing marks. 1923 London Underground MAP of the Electric Railways of London "What to see and how to travel". Designed by MacDonald Gill with his distinctive style of calligraphy and map border, this is the issue dated 1/11/23 which shows the British Empire Exhibition stations with red dots. In used condition with wear at one panel-fold and some small partings at the edges but still a good copy overall. [1]
c1911 London Underground Railways CARD POCKET MAP, considered by many to be the true ancestor of today's Tube map and the first to be printed on linen-card in a handy size. Featuring the vertical UndergrounD logo on the cover, this is a scarce example issued by the Metropolitan Railway, despite the latter not being a part of the Underground Group. In good, lightly used condition with a little wear at the folds and some light creasing in the top r/h corner. [1]

Features the short-lived 'Swift and Sure' cover design, colourful advertisements in the map border (also advertising on the reverse) and an interesting version of the UndergrounD logo with 'London' and 'Railways' inserted into the white bars. This is a special printing produced for Shamrock & Rambler and Orange Luxury Coaches with their names on the front cover, pick-up points highlighted on the map with details on the rear cover. A most unusual variant in excellent condition, just lightly used. [1]
1913 official UNDERGROUND MAP OF LONDON, "What to see and how to see it". Print-code: 187-150 M-1-6-13.This is the map shown on p59 of Capital Transport's "No need to ask" reference work and shows the planned extensions of the Bakerloo, Central and Hampstead Tubes. The cover features one of the first printed versions of the bullseye logo, forerunner of today's roundel. Light staining to covers and tiny tear at r/h edge but overall a very good copy. [1]

This issue marks stations with black-outlined white circles and shows the Met station as Hammersmith (Grove). Designed by MacDonald Gill with a blue decorative border and calligraphed station names, the map opens out to 13.5" x 10.5" (34 x 27cm). In used condition with some wear at folds and corners but overall still good. [1]
1936 London Transport Underground POSTER MAP designed by H C Beck and featuring a wide blue border. One of the short-lived series featuring, against Beck's wishes, it is thought, the much-thickened lines in the central area to include the line names plus large diamonds for the inter-change stations. Measuring 33" x 26" (84cm x 66cm) and folded, the poster is in good condition with just a little wear on some of the folds, some light creasing in places and a short tear at the top edge. [1]

Linen-card map with blue cover in the larger size of the later editions and showing the Piccadilly Line extensions to Cockfosters, Sudbury Town and Northfields as under construction. In good, lightly-used condition with a pencil mark on the cover. [1]

The "District Railway" MAP of London, 5th edition, c1893/94. A large-scale, full-colour map (42" x 26", 107cm x 66cm), linen-backed and folded into hard covers. This is the 2nd of three known variants of this issue and shows the named Regent's Canal, City & Docks Railway plus the City Lines undertaking to Barbican as dotted blue lines together with "District Railway" in large letters above the central section of the line. A good copy with light wear only. [1]
