Enthält u. a. Weltkarte in Oval, Erdteilkarten von Europa, Afrika, Amerika und Asien, Gesamt- und Teilkarten von Deutschland, Italien, Frankreich und Griechenland, sowie Karten von Kuba, England, Schottland, Niederlande, Österreich, Schweiz, Skandinavien und dem Mittelmeerraum; das Addimentum ferner mit Karten von Ägypten, Preussen, Valentia, Sizilien, Azoren, Kreta, China u. a. Nach einem einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Kairo endet die Reise im März in England. - Die schönen Fotografien jeweils mit handschriftl. Bezeichnungen zeigen den Verfasser und seinen Reisebegleiter (`The Major`), verschied. Mitreisende, das Schiff S. S. Hamburg , versch. Hotels, Gärten, Dörfer, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einheimische, Reiseaktivitäten (Kamelreiten) sowie zahlr. Ansichten des Nils. Die Atelier-Fotografien überwiegend mit Ansichten von Städten (Kairo, Memphis, Assuan), Landschaften und Sehenswürdigkeiten (Sphinx, Ramesseum, Abu Simbel, Assuan Staudamm, Insel Philae sowie Tempel von Karnak, Edfu, Kôm Ombo, Kalabche, Dakkéh, Abydos et.).
