Flatman (Thomas). Poems and Songs, 2nd ed., with additions and amendments, printed by S. and B. G. for Benjamin Took, 1676, some minor marks to title and occn. to margins, some light staining towards rear of vol., a.e.g., early 20th c. half dark blue morocco, gilt-dec. spine, 8vo, together with Wild (Robert), Iter Boreale, With large Additions of several other Poems, being an exact collection of all hitherto extant, 1670, printed for John Williams, 1670, lacks A1 (blank), 122 + [14] pp., one or two leaves of table towards rear of vol. close-trimmed to fore-margin, some soiling and light overall browning, later blind-ruled calf, rubbed and a little wear to upper joint, small 8vo, plus another edition of the same work, printed for R. R. and W. C., 1671, lacks A1 (blank), 126 pp., 19th c. bookplate of Buchan-Hepburn to front pastedown, 19th century half calf, rubbed and scuffed, small 8vo Wing F1152, 2137 and 2138 respectively. Cornford (Frances). Poems, 1st ed., Hampstead, The Priory Press, [1910], orig. grey cloth-backed boards, lettered in dark green, a little soiled, crown 8vo The author's first book. Frances Cornford was suspected, in the summer of 1911, of being Bertrand Russell's secret mistress, a theory that caused some frivolity between him and Ottoline. The Cornford's home in Cambridge became a meeting-place for artists and men of letters, including Rothenstein, Gill, Lowes Dickinson, and Bertrand Russell. Russell reported to Ottoline on 6th August of that year that he went home hungry and bad-tempered after dining on soup and few slices of cold meat at Cornford's infamously frugal table. With Ottoline's monogram, and the date 1910, on the front free endpaper. (1)

Small red armorial indelible stamp of Queen Marie of Hanover on the verso of the title-page. (1)

A Cantonese yellow ground moon flask, painted with a hunting scene and exotic birds perched on branches to the reverse, within foliate scroll ground with pomegranates and chrysanthemums and with twin dragon handles to the collar, seal mark to base, adapted as a table lamp, 45cm high.
*A Bohemian glass beaker, mid 19th Century, engraved with an allegorical figure of a girl with a snake and an inscription within a panel cut ground, 13cm high, together with a 19th Century Bohemian wine glass finely engraved a scene of two figures at a table in a landscape and opposed by a verse, a Baccarat tumbler engraved with a bird amidst foliage, the base inscribed 'Christian Dior'; a 19th Century wine glass with coronet engraved bowl and facet cut stem and other glassware.
