A Paris: de l'Imprimerie de Didot Jeune, L'an septieme [1798-1799]. In-4° (mm 260x200). Pagine 110, con una tavola calcografica contenente il ritratto dell'Autore e 39 carte geografiche incise su rame numerate 2-38, di cui una più volte ripiegata. Qualche arrossatura, lieve brunitura di poche carte, gora al margine superiore delle carte iniziali. Legatura coeva in pelle, titolo in oro su doppio tassello al dorso, contropiatti e sguardie in carta decorata, dentelles, tagli spruzzati in rosso, segnalibro in seta. Abrasioni agli angoli, aloni ai piatti, lieve usura delle cerniere. Al contropiatto anteriore segnatura manoscritta, con correzioni, su etichetta cartacea. Volume destinato ad accompagnare, a guisa di atlante, il Voyage du Jeune Anacharsis en Grèce di Jean Jacques Barthélemy (nell'impressione del 1798-1799), opera che valse al suo Autore la nomina a membro dell'Académie française. Come le copie censite in ICCU e rintracciabili sul mercato, anche il nostro esemplare contiene 39 delle 40 tavole listate nella Table: la planche numero 1 (Carte Générale de la Grèce avec ses Colonies) venne secondo Brunet aggiunta e pubblicata solo ad inizio XIX secolo. La tavole si devono al cartografo francese Jean-Denis Barbie du Bocage (1760 - 1825), allievo del noto maestro geografo Jean-Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville. Brunet I, 674: "Bélle édition, plus complète que les trois prem. La grande carte de la Grèce avec ses colonies, qui forme le no. 1 de l'atlas, n'a été publiée qu'en 1811, et manque conséquemment dans une partie des exemplaires".
