An Extensive Service of French Silver Reed and Ribbon Pattern Flatware, Regina Benvenisti, Paris, 1st Standard, circa 1900, comprising: 24 table forks; 24 table knives (with steel blades); 18 table spoons; 26 dessert knives (12 with silver blades,13 with steel blades; 1 lacking blade); 8 teaspoons; 14 dessert spoons; 15 dessert forks; 18 fish knives; 17 fish forks; and 10 assorted serving pieces to include: a soup ladle; salad servers; cake slice etc., all engraved with a monogram and housed in a four tier oak canteen, approximately 275ozt (174)Dessert knives in need of some attention. Silver bladed examples are coming away from handled. The steel blades are a different length to the silver examples and as such do not fit in the allocated canteen spaces. One teaspoon damaged on handled. Otherwise all with light signs of wear but mostly appear to be in fairly good condition. Canteen inset with brass plaque to cover engraved with the matching monogram. Split across cover, lock escutcheon lacking and general scuffs and wear to exterior.
A mid-20th century Scandanavian rosewood dining suite, consisting of a D-end dining table and two extra leaves and six matching chairs with rattan seats Condition Report: Chairs are all solid. Some discolouration to wood and rattan (grubby). No visible signs of repair.Length = 198cm, Width = 122cm & Height = 70cm. Table top has heat marks, discolouration of sheen to parts, now in need of attention. No deep scratches or dents visible. Part of edging detached (see image).
A mixed wood Occasional Table of most uncommon design having a turned baluster carved with foliage extending to a quadruple twist pillar in two stages, all supported on a three legged base and having a snap-top of rectangular shape with curved ends, profusely inlaid with marquetry depicting scrolling foliage and flower blooms, metamorphosing from a table to an early style fire screen, the top 25 5/8'' x 15 1/8'' x 29 1/4'' high.
