A good quality Chippendale style reproduction mahogany dressing table circa 1920s with swing mirror supported by four pillar columns terminating with classical urn finials, secret compartments to moulded gallery, gadrooned edge, slight concave front with five cedar lined drawers, cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, together with matching bedside cabinet, dressing table dimensions: width 131cm, depth 63cm & height 160cm.
A George IV late Regency mahogany combination writing and dressing table circa 1820 in the manner of Gillows Lancaster, the top with gilt brass scroll gallery, the top dividing into three sections with the front two pieces sliding out sideways on brass slides revealing an adjustable pull out mirror on ratchet stand and storage space either side, the hinged back opens to reveal sunken well, dummy drawers to front the right with lock which secures the three sections, triangular floral carved frieze to sides and beading throughout, stood on turned and reeded legs terminating with brass castors, min. width 76cm extending to 134cm, depth 59.5cm & height 82cm. Condition - beading missing to front right corner, other minor losses and dings, scuffs etc. generally very good, sturdy, functioning fine, general wear throughout.
