A late Victorian silver dressing table tray by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham, 1897, oblong with rounded corners and pierced border of scrolling foliage, a mask at either side, embossed with bird, masks, scrolling flowers and drapery swag on textured ground centred by vacant cartouche, 31.6 cm. long, wt. 495 gm.Good condition, a couple of tiny dings inside rim.
Four early 18th century silver rat-tail table spoons comprising:- one by Andrew Archer, London, no date letter, circa 1703/20, engraved with contemporary dragon sejant crest (crest has some wear); one London, 1718, engraved with a contemporary crest of a bridled horse's head, maker's mark indistinct, some wear to crest; another similar, probably London, 1718, engraved with contemporary initials "IB" and later script initials and crest coronet; and a fourth, no maker's mark, London, 1716, initialled "EI", all with pronounced rib to front, wt. 197 gm.All reasonable condition with even bowls.
An 18 carat gold and diamond single stone ring, the brilliant approx. 0.17 carat, in extended claw setting, to a two colour shank, fully hallmarked, finger size K, 4.8gms CONDITION: small inclusion noted beneath table, otherwise appears a nice stone - claw setting a little clumsy
A matched set of six George III Hanoverian pattern silver three-prong table forks, two by Walter Tweedie, London, circa 1775, one by William & Thomas Chawner, London, 1768 and three indistinctly marked, all engraved with an eagle crest with collared neck and outspread wings, 19 and 19.2 cm. long, wt. 313 gm.Overall good condition, tines on four are nice and even, very very minor wear to tines on remaining two but hardly noticeable.
