An antique oak drop leaf gate legged table, with turned supports and stretcher and raised on short feet. Height 72 cm, width 96 cm, length 119 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This table appears to have a later top. The top has been split to the apex of both drop leaves and these pieces have been pegged and glued back. CONDITION REPORT: The smallest table has scuffing and wear and the underside bears the stamp number 33. There is no woodworm damage, repairs or breakages visible. The next size up table similarly is scuffed and worn and bears the number 33 to the underside. Again there is no evidence of woodworm damage, breakages or repair but it is worth mentioning that this table is very slightly loose to joints but this primarily because it only as three stretchers as opposed to the four stretchers with the smallest table. The next size up table again is scuffed and worn with the number 33 to underside. This table has slight cracking to each of the stretchers at the point of the curve. Finally the largest table also is scuffed and worn and bears the number 33. There is again slight cracking to the stretchers at the point of the curve. The front rail below the drawer has some old woodworm damage. There is some vertical splitting to the front right upright which emanates from just below the top down to the foot. All four of the feet have some woodworm damage and chipping with the front right foot being in better condition whilst the back right foot is quite poor. All of the ebonised veneer is present although one piece is slightly discoloured and lacking some of the ebonising and another has a small triangular section apparently re-glued. There is also a small piece of veneer chipping between the two ebonised tram lines - were the table tops to be raised to vertical this area of loss would be at the 5 o'clock mark.
