A Set of Six William IV Provincial Silver Teaspoons, by James Barber and William North, York, 1835, Old English pattern; Together With: A Similar Spoon by Barber, Cattle and North, York, 1832 and A Fiddle Pattern Table-Spoon, by James Barber and William Whitwell, York, 1821-1823 5oz 14dwt (8). The Six Teaspoons: each marked with maker's mark, lion passant. duty mark and date letter. The marks are generally clear. The surface of each is rather bright and there are some bruises and dents to the bowl as well as some wear to the edges. The Similar Spoon: marked with maker's mark, lion passant, duty mark and date letter. The surface is somewhat bright. There is some thinning and a repair to the bowl. There is the remains of an engraved initial. The Table-Spoon: marked with maker's mark, lion passant, duty mark, leopard's head and date lattter. There is some wear to the marks. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a bruise in the bowl.

A Victorian Provincial Silver Table-Service From the Yorkshire Club Service, by James Barber and William North, York, 1838, Most Pieces With York Town Mark, Old English pattern, engraved with the Yorkshire Rose, comprising: 6 table-forks 6 table-spoons 2 basting-spoons A fish-slice A soup-ladle, 1841 A sauce-ladle A butter-knife A pair of sugar-tongs, circa 1838 A mustard-spoon A salt-spoon 63oz 2dwt (21) . All piece except the butter-knife, sugar tongs, mustard-spoon and salt-spoon are fully marked and with the York town mark. The butter-knife is fully marked though lacking the York town mark, the mustard-spoon and salt-spoon are marked with maker's mark, lion passant, duty mark and date letter and the sugar-tongs are marked with maker's mark, lion passant and duty mark. There is some wear to the marks, particularly on the smaller pieces but most are still legible. There is some overall minor surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor bruises to some bowls. The wear is most obvious to the engraving on the smaller pieces. The sugar tong have had a silver patch applied inside, repairing a small crack..

A Victorian Silver Part Table-Service, by Lister and Sons, Newcastle, 1855, 1856 and 1858, of single-struck Fiddle and Shell pattern, engraved with a crest, comprising: 2 table-spoons 11 dessert-spoons 6 dessert-forks 4 teaspoons, by John Walton, Newcastle, 1856 29oz 15dwt (23). Each piece is marked on back of handle. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some thinning to the bowls of three of the teaspoons. There is some minor bruising to the bowls of the spoons overall and some loss and bruising to the tips of the tines.
