The wide segment of crossbanding is also in good condition with only minor old stress fractures to the veneers. The centre specimen wood section is slightly undulating to the touch in places but there is no lifting. There is one small point to one of the triangles that has a veneer repair. There is one stress fracture running across the centre panel from one edge all most through the middle to the other edge. There is no movement and the crack is not open. The underside of the table top does not show any fractures. The bearers are in good order. The centre column is in good condition with no issues. There are no repairs to the legs. A Victorian mahogany extending dining table, oval, with single leaf and moulded edge, recessed frieze and raised on turned end supports with downswept legs terminating in scroll feet and castors. Width 140 cm, length 178 cm, length including leaf 241 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is in extremely good original condition. The top is flat with no warps. The colour is uniform and good. There are some minor old surface marks and scratches but no significant problems with the top. The single leaf is in generally good order but does have a more significant scratch which is approximately 50 cm in length. This has disturbed the polished finish. The leaf is a little darker than the remainder of the table top. The base is structurally very sound. The legs and scroll supports are all in very good condition and there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration. The winding mechanism operates as it should. We have the winder. The table top and base are original to each other.
A 19th century mahogany side table, with caddy top, single frieze drawer with brass drop handle and raised on tapered legs of square section. Width 55 cm. The moulded edge is in good condition all round. The drawer is in good order. The handle is probably original. The sides of the top both have minor veneer repairs. The stretcher and legs are probably later to the top. The top looks to be Regency period where as the base later Victorian/Edwardian.
An antique oak side table, the rectangular top with moulded edge, recessed frieze and raised on four turned legs terminating in pad feet. Width 52 cm. CONDITION REPORT: In our opinion this is probably made up from the legs and frieze of a pad foot dining table. The top does not match the bottom and is clearly from something else.

A Victorian walnut kidney shaped stretcher table, with tooled leather surface, turned supports and downswept legs terminating in ceramic castors, width 91 cm. The veneer is missing around the right-hand secret drawer all along the bottom edge and to both up rights. There are other veneer nibbles to the corners. The second box is missing the front lock escutcheon. The top left-hand corner has veneer nibbles. The hinges are original and in good order. The interior lift out tray is in generally good condition. The red velvet lining is a little worn in places but in generally reasonable order. All glass bottles are present. One is however badly damaged. There are numerous small veneer nibbles around the secret drawer. The retaining pin does not locate into the top of the secret drawer very well either. It looks as if attempts to force this drawer open have been made. These are Victorian boxes and do not require CITIES documents. A pair of brass Corinthian column table lamps, on square stepped bases, height including shade 54 cm, excluding shade 39 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamps have come from a local hotel. It would appear that some of the lamps have been lacquered at some point in their life and this lacquer is now deteriorating leaving the base metal which is brass. The lights are currently plugged in and working. The lamps have been in a working environment and there is some tarnishing but nothing too detrimental or that could not be rectified quiet easily.

A George III mahogany dining table, with centre drop leaf section and two D ends all raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Width 135 cm, length fully extended 332 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good original untouched, unrestored condition. The top is flat and not warped. There are no significant losses to the table top and no missing pieces of mahogany at the leaf extremities. The colour of the top it is fairly uniform, the D ends perhaps a little lighter in colour. The polish to the top is original and the colour is good. The recessed frieze and all legs are in less good condition than the table top. The polish is dry in places and beginning to perish. The D end legs all appear to be in good structural order with no significant damage or repairs. You will note that the spade feet are quite minimal in design. If you compare these to the spade feet on the centre drop leaf section you will see that these are larger and they appear to have been tipped. The wooden gates that support the drop leaves have all been replaced at some point and the recessed frieze on the centre section has veneer losses and moulding losses. The width between the legs of the D ends is 52.5 cm at the centre and just under 54 cm at the sides. The width at the side between the gates is just over 54 cm with the table folded. We do have four clips. The table does fit together when the drop leaves are down. The clips are however very tight.

A Victorian gilt framed overmantle mirror, with putto and foliate pediment and moulded mirror surround. Height 170 cm, width 102 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The mirror glass is original. There do not appear to be any areas where the mirror has been regilded or overpainted. The mirror plate is showing signs of beginning to perish and is cloudy and silvery in places. The pediment has some losses and repairs to the floral bouquet. There are also breaks to the table supporting this and some small losses. There are cracks around the table top and around the elbows of each cherub. There are some other minor losses to the supporting leaves left and right and where the bottom left hand scroll of the left-hand cherub joins the top of the mirror frame. The same comment applies to the right-hand support of the same cherub. Much of the gilding to the pediment is now lost and all very dark. The moulding around the mirror frame is in generally good condition with no significant losses other than at the very bottom approximately 6 ins from the centre. There are other losses to the gesso along the bottom edge with small sections of the rope twist bottom moulding missing. There are some scuffs to the corners of the base. The mirror frame has not had any restoration and we believe the current finish to be the original finish.
Two cut glass table lamps, each with shade, tallest 36 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The smaller of the two lamps appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or flaws. On the centre of the shade there is a 5 cm diameter circle of crazed glass. It is difficult to determine how this appeared and one can only assume that it is a reaction to the heat of the lamp. The taller of the two lamps appears to be free from any chips, cracks or repairs. Overall both in good condition.
