The games surface underneath is in generally good order. There is a trace of an old ring mark to the centre and three slightly lifting parquetry squares. The backgammon board is in good order although a little dirty and with three old watermarks. The hinged compartments to left and right both have very minor warps which in our opinion are not problematic. Exactly the same comments apply to the opposite side. The centre column is in good order as are the legs which are structurally sound. The castors are original and sound and secure.
