Hinge is in good condition and the cover closes well. Marks are clear. In generally good condition.
AN ART DECO SILVER AND GUILLOCHE ENAMEL DRESSING TABLE SET by Mappin & Webb Ltd, London, mostly 1934, comprising a cut-glass scent bottle, two pairs of brushes, a hand mirror and a cut-glass powder jar. (7) Scent bottle 11.5cm highEnamel is a soft golden beige colour. Marks lightly rubbed but legible - each piece with full set of hallmarks. Clothes brushes, one with very slight loss to enamel border; hand mirror, with scratch to enamel at top of handle and discolouring to very small section (3mm) of enamel border lower down handle, the mirror plate with foxing and marks. Light surface scratches to enamelling on all pieces, commensurate with age and use.

Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct, marked '18CT', ring size L1/2, 4.4 gramsOne diamond with a small chip to table, one diamond with a gap around the setting. Estimated diamond colour: I/J/K; estimated clarity: SI1/SI2.
A SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RING an oval-cut sapphire within a double border of round brilliant-cut diamonds, to fancy forked shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20ct, ring size M, 6.2 gramsGood condition. The sapphire measures 7.37mm x 5.09mm x 3.73mm approximately. Estimated diamond colour: G/H; estimated clarity: SI1/SI2. Diamonds lively, one diamond with a yellow tint, another heavily included appearing white, another with a surface reaching fracture to the table facet, but does not detract/noticable with the unaided eye. Sapphire is natural, with some nibbling to girdle facet edge, eye-visible inclusion just off table facet which appears irredescent/cloudy. Sapphire is secure in the setting. 20th century (probably second half) manufacture. Not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. No repairs or alternations noted or needed. Shank good, no thinning.

Handle heavily repaired at base/join to top of bell. Light surface marks and scratches commensurate with use.
