A large painted wooden dolls house and contents, English 1890s, the painted brick red exterior with three steps leading to green panelled front door with columns and shallow portico, with eight large square glazed windows, moulded coining, sills and painted window bars, black pitch roof with two chimneys, the front opens in two wings to six rooms, hallway and two landings with stair case to all three levels, two rooms with built in fire places and kitchen with stove surround, all rooms with interior doors and later wall papers, furnishings include a nice set of six dining chairs with gold silk patterned upholstery (one chair lacks one leg), wooden roll top bureau, music room with wooden harpsicord and flower stand with embossed flower decoration and blue edging, upright piano, other furniture includes wooden kitchen table, chairs, dresser, dining table, cabinet, metal bed and a selection of ornaments, glazed bisque maid doll, gentleman with moustache and shoulder head parian (lacks feet), house 50” (127cm) tall, 43” (110cm) wide, 18” (46cm) deep, (condition: exterior over-painted, window bars not original, two interior door are loose).
