Roccheggiani, Fourniseur de la Maison Royale, Rome, 12 13 Via Condotti 14 15' with a contemporary traced paper design noting in ink the various specimen marbles and the named scenes for the micromosaic panels, the micromosaic ovals 7.5 x 10cm, the table top 65.5cm diameter, on a 20th century wrought iron stand, 52cm high See: Hanisee Gabriel, [Jeanette], The Gilbert Collection Micromosaics, page 289 for a biography of Cesare Roccheggiani who was active at the Vatican Mosaic Workshop from 1856 to 1864 and later had his own private atelier at 125 via Babuino, and then at 14-15 via Condotti.
