A soviet porcelain plate: "Working Woman's Breakfast", Alexander Samokhvalov, State Porcelain Manufactory, 1968 after a design by the artist, depicting a bare-breasted woman seated at a table with a cat on her shoulder, with dappled grey and black border interspersed with flowers, marked: A Samokhvalov, 1923-1968 diameter: 24.5cm., 9.75in in the catalogue produced for Circling the Square soviet porcelain exhibition in London it was mentioned that this work was repeated by Anna Nosova in 1968. This is likely to have been one such work, possibly made for an exhibtion at the Kuskovo State Museum of Ceramics, Moscow.
