A CARVED LAMP H M SUBMARINE HOLLAND A table lamp with carved mouse decoration, with brass plaque. Carved in Teak from H M S SUBMARINE No1 Holland D. Built 1901. Lost 1913. Raised 1982. HMS Holland was put to test with Mice aboard, timing their deaths due to submerged conditions. With a crew of eight six Holland Class Submarines were built. The 'Mice' Tests proved being submerged for up to 9 hours, was possible in these boats. They were still being used in the 2nd W War, for similar tests. After being de-commissioned No 1 Submarine sank whilst being towed to be scrapped, no crew were lost. Found and brought up she is now on show at the Submarine Museum Gosport. The INM possesses a historic wooden carving of a mouse, made from wood salvaged from No 1 Submarine. Measuring some 6.1/2" high by 8.3/4" long in a curved form, with standing mouse decoration.
A Meissen porcelain figure of a seated man drinking wine at a table with a large ewer, marked to base, no.1447, height 22cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The item fro the gentleman's left hand is missing (broken off). One side of the spout of the ewer is restored. Chip underneath the front of the base.

An early 20th century Chinese Famille Verte porcelain double cylindrical snuff bottle painted in enamels with a figure and table with vase to each side, with green and orange hardstone stoppers, with four character seal mark to base, height 5.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both spoons replaced, two small foot rim chips, surface wear and imperfections to glaze.

CONDITION REPORT: Some old repairs, patch to top right corner, split to top, retains good colour, general surface wear.

CONDITION REPORT: Height 76cm, depth 66cm, top faded/lighter coloured, comprised of four planks, extensive wear and tear to top with chips, gouges, scratches, discolouration etc. One drawer dovetail joints coming apart, further wear and tear throughout, will need attention.
An 18th century elm topped cricket table on three turned supports, diameter 46cm. CONDITION REPORT: Splits, scratches and surface marks to the top, underside and legs. Evidence of woodworm. Legs do not sit flush in the top, with traces of glue, suggesting that they may not be original. Traces of brown paint to underside, which has been rubbed away. Height 52.5cm, thickness of top approx. 8cm.
